I’ve had a crazy month this month, full of travel and events. Within just 2 weeks, I went to Busch Gardens with my family, to the Outer Banks for a family reunion beach trip and to Orlando for a girls’ getaway.
All of the trips were awesome for different reasons, of course. But the most hilarious and most fun (grown-up style) was definitely the Orlando Trip.
I got to hang out with some of my favorite bloggy friends again as we introduced Orlando to our particular style of humor and fun. That involved laughing in the pool, laughing at the bars, laughing at the NKOTB concert (sorry!) and laughing at Airheads Trampoline Arena. Have you spotted a theme yet?
Most of the laughing came from funny stories, people watching, remembering the night before, etc.
At Airheads, the laughing was completely about our unfortunate lack of coordination. There were a couple of girls, though, who clearly learned to rock a trampoline at some point in their lives. Here is one of them:
We all had a blast jumping. Most of us just went from section to section jumping around or jumped to see how high we could get. The kids in the sections around us were much more daring – bouncing and even flipping off the side walls. It was fun to watch and made me wish I could have tried Airheads when I was a child.
After jumping for a while, we all headed down to the dining area to eat.
Airheads had all sorts of food, from pizza and buffalo wings to salads and sandwiches. I didn’t realize that there would be so much food, so I ate before we got there, but everyone said the food was really good.
A few of the girls headed over to play games after dinner. There were lots of arcade type games and even a Dance-thingy when the girls tried to copy the steps shown on the screen (hilarious!).
I had a great time at Airheads and would love to try a fitness class or dodgeball game there someday. It’s definitely awesome exercise and a great way to have some fun with friends.
Airheads is totally the kind of place that kids would love – lots of exercise, lots of fun, lots of food. It would be a great spot to take the kids to burn off some energy or to have an amazing birthday party the friends would remember for years.
If you’re in the Orlando area, be sure to check out Airheads Trampoline Arena. You can find the weekly specials, fitness class schedules, birthday party information, menu and directions at Airheads Trampoline Arena online. Follow Airheads on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates.
