Molly is a huge part of our family. She’s actually part of two families, so there are a lot of people who care dearly about her. Molly belongs to my sister-in-law, but since she and her husband have had to travel for work a lot over the past couple of years, Molly is almost always with us. We love her and want to do everything we can to keep her happy and healthy.
Since Molly has a lot of health issues and has to take medicine, it’s important that we give her the best dog food we can. She’s refused quite a few brands of food for dogs in the past, so we’re thrilled that she loves Cesar Meaty Selects and will eat it happily.
When she started living with us and we needed to correct her diet and medication schedule, Molly wasn’t eating one routine dog food. We wanted to transition her from her old food brands to Cesar, so we made sure to do it slowly so her stomach wouldn’t become upset.
If you’re planning to transition your dog, be sure to follow these steps:
- For the first couple of days, your dog’s meals should be approximately 75% old food with 25% new food. Mix the foods together, don’t serve them separated.
- If the food mixture at 75/25 goes smoothly for a couple of days, you can mix 50% of your dog’s old food with 50% of the new food for two days.
- On the 5th and 6th days, your dog’s meals should be about 75% new food and 25% old food.
- On day 7 let your dog enjoy 100% of the new Cesar dog food!
We’ve been very happy with Molly on her Cesar diet. She’s a sweet dog and brings a lot of joy to our family, so it makes me happy to be able to give her a high quality dog food that she loves.
