I lost power for 7 days with hurricane Sandy. I had to replace part of my roof and remove two trees that fell. Lost everything in my refrigerator and for some reason my landline phone no longer works. Could have been worse; I am NOT complaining. I still have a house. But I’d love a Kindle so when and if power goes down, I still have some form of entertainment. A backlit Kindle would give me the ability to read at night when the power is down. That hurricane was a big wake up call for me, I was so unprepared.
Buy a laptop, as the one I have is old
It would help pay the medical bills from my cancer surgery this past week, or catch us up on rent or a utility bill. Maybe even do half the bills and buy the kids a gift or two for Christmas. Then take 50.00 of it for a Christmas Dinner.
