We were able to take the kids to the circus on Wednesday for the opening night here in Raleigh. It was the first time my husband and I had been since we were little and the first time ever for the kids. As I posted here, there were supposed to be some really wonderful acts in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
And they did. It was such an amazing show! We got there early to let the kids enjoy the pre-show activities. From the dancers teaching the girls little dances and all of the kids trying on different circus costumes to being on the main floor only 20 yards away from an elephant, the pre-show was one of the coolest things our kids have ever done.
And then there was the circus. All three rings were constantly going and there was so much to see. Here are some photos of some of our favorite acts:
As you can see from the pictures, there were just so many amazing acts and performances. All five of us had a wonderful time and will be going every year from now on!
