When my husband and I built our house, there were a few things we splurged on. We both really wanted a nice screened porch, a large back deck, a walk-up attic and lots of built-in storage in the closets. Those things added up quickly in price, though, so we had to limit other upgrades. We ended up doing a very basic builder-grade products in some of the rooms, always planning to make upgrades later.
It’s been several years and we’re finally starting to make those changes. One of the first places we started was the kids’ bathroom.
It’s a nice size bathroom and all of the kids will be able to share it easily. But until now, they haven’t been using the shower or tub there because of the shower head. It allowed almost no water force and it was so high up that it was hard for the kids to rinse the shampoo out of their hair. And now that my toddler son takes “big boy” baths, it’s been difficult to wash his hair too. He doesn’t like water dripping near his face, so a lot of nights I have to wash his hair with the kitchen sink nozzle after he finishes bath time.
But now I don’t have to worry about any of those problems. Because I just installed this baby:
The Delta In2ition Two-in-One Shower is exactly what we needed. It’s pretty, so it makes the bath look much nicer, and it’s much nicer to use than our previous showerhead.
The detachable pull-down spray head can be used for a hand-held shower or it can stay snapped into place on the main showerhead. Both the showerhead and the hand-held shower have different settings, so it’s easy to get the perfect setting for every preference.
With the switch on the side of the showerhead, I can set the spray to come out of just the outer (main) showerhead, just out of the handheld unit or out of both. And then on the hand-held spray, there is a button that controls 4 different settings of spray.
I can set a direct, forceful spray or an easier, more gentle spray, depending on how I feel. The direct spray is awesome on sore muscles, so I really loved having it after coming back from a conference with an aching back and neck!
There’s also a pause setting, which stops the flow of water but keeps the water (temperature and force) ready to start up again with the push of a button. I love using the pause setting for shampooing and conditioning the kids’ hair and for shaving my legs. It will also be great for washing the dog, so I can pause the water (instead of turning it off and having to re-adjust while the dog tries to escape!).
You can see how easy it is to change the settings in this little video I made. Check it out:
I’ll be sharing more information and thoughts about my new showerhead over the next few weeks, including the installation process. Stay tuned!

Wow, that looks awesome. I have a handheld one too but it does not have the “pause” feature. That would be so nice for bathing my daughter! I have to keep turning it off and on and getting the temp right over and over!
Kathleen says
I would LOVE to have this shower head! I like a good strong pressure, especially to rinse my hair. I have very thick hair and it takes a while to rinse all the shampoo and then the conditioner out.

It looks like a little bit of heaven on the shower. I would love to have one, ours is just a regular shower head. I might stay in the shower a bit longer then normal.
Robin Wilson says
That is one of the coolest handheld shower heads I have ever seen. I just love it. The one we have now just does not have a great flow no matter how I try to adjust it. I like Delta products.
