Did your feet get bigger when you got pregnant? Mine did. All three times.
And they stayed big. I’m a full size and a half bigger in shoe size than I was for most of my adult life. Which is really sad because I own a lot of cute shoes. Pair after pair of funky boots, hot heels and adorable sandals. And none of them fit me any more.
I’m slowly but surely building back a respectable collection of cute shoes, but it’s taking a while. Something that’s different about my new shoe collection, besides the pitifully large shoe size, is comfort. I used to care only about the look. Whether I teetered around on my tip-toes or got blisters, as long as the shoes were awesome I was happy. Now I have three small children and am a bit more practical about what I want to wear all day. I still love cute shoes, but they have to be comfortable and stay comfortable all day long.
My newest shoes are just that. They’re The Bonsai shoes from Earth and they are so cute.
I love them! They are dressy enough to wear out for a night with the girls or casual enough to wear with jeans. And they’re so comfortable! Kalso Earth Shoes have been known in the past for using a Negative Heel in their shoes, which sets the heel slightly lower than the toes, naturally positioning the body over the frame. The new shoe line, simply called “Earth”, uses a positive heel made with a footbed of thick cushioning, reinforced arch support and an over-padded heel that ensures comfort all day long.
I really like them! I’ve already got some ideas about some cute new outfits I’d love to pair with them. Here are a couple of ideas:
Love! I’ve already been wearing my new shoes with jeans, but can’t wait to try these looks too.
Be sure to check out this awesome new line of shoes from Earth here. There are a lot of great styles to choose from.
There is also an amazing contest going on where you can win a trip to A Special Place on Earth (value $3,000!). Just click this image to enter:

LOVE your shoes! I just got a pair too – and have to get a post put together to share… But these ones are SO me. Jealous 🙂
But aren’t these shoes the MOST comfortable shoes, ever? I mean yeah, I’ve had slippers that were better – but that’s about it, lol. I couldn’t believe how comfy they were when I slipped ’em on. I’m thinking total blog conference shoe!! 🙂

Yes, Meagan! I couldn’t believe how soft and cozy the footbed was. Conference shoes, definitely! 🙂
