I went through hurricane Sandy and lost parts of my roof and two trees in my backyard and all my refrigerated goods over the course of 7 days without power. I never want to go through another power outage without a way to read late at night. Candles don’t work, I tried it.

Pots and pans. I’ve never had a nice set. The pans I use everyday were new 37 years ago. They were just cheap set when I bought them for my hope chest way back when. They are toast now.
