Over the past few months, I’ve teamed up with Similac to share my story.
Although I had always planned to nurse my children, and did, I also ended up forumla feeding all three of them too. With each baby, I either needed to supplement with formula when I couldn’t supply enough milk, or needed to make the change to formula when my body decided to wean the baby earlier than I’d planned.
And each of those times, I was happy to be able to continue giving my baby optimal nutrition from Similac.
For almost 90 years, millions of parents just like me, have relied on Similac to support their baby’s healthy growth and development. Similac was first created in the 1920s by a doctor who wanted to help women feel their children with a feeding solution.
Since then, Similac’s rich history is a testament to how it continually sets itself apart from other brands and companies with solutions and support for women from the early 20th century on.

Many people would probably be surprised that Similac supports breastfeeding as well as formula feeding. In fact, Similac provides breastfeeding education, advice and tips for mothers, to ensure that they have the information and support needed to make the best choice for their family.
Because that’s what it’s really about – healthy, happy babies, no matter how they’re fed.
