I would LOVE this, so that it could be a Christmas gift for my son! He’s seven, autistic, and hyperlexic, and reading reading reading reading reading is one of his favorite activities, sensory escapes, and methods of learning. We simply can’t buy hard copies of, make enough trips to the library to borrow, or lug around enough books to make the most of it! An e-reader would be a fabulous tool to have at our disposal for him.

  2. Would love to have a Kindle!

  3. Ok, so my one sentence was cheesy. Sorry :) I would love to have a kindle so that while I am
waiting for my step-daughter’s school to let out, I can read and enjoy that time I have to myself
without needing to lug around a bag full of books. I’m usually sitting there for around an hour,
and a Kindle would be absolutely perfect. Thank you!

  4. susan southard says:

I love to read and I always have a book with me. This would be great to have to carry in my purse(it would make it a lot lighter). Thank you for all the giveaways you all do.

  5. I’d really like to win the Kindle to help me deal with living with chronic pain. Reading helps reduce my pain by being able to focus on something besides the pain. It gets me through the really tough times.

  6. Sandra Mounts says:

I would love to win a Kindle for my son who just returned from Afghanistan. He loves to read and this would make one amazing gift for him. Thank you for such an amazing contest.

  7. Thanks for helping with this giveaway! I really appreciate all of you helping me out. :-)

  8. Phronsie Howell says:

I would love to win this because the kids keep stealing my kindle. It’s full of mostly kid books and they like to take it and “read” on the couch. Winning one would mean I might actually get to use it!

  9. Kristel VanBuskirk says:

Thanks to “A Helicopter Mom,” to Andrea Pearson, and to the other bloggers who have teamed up to offer this giveaway. I peeked through some of Ms. Pearson’s websites and her books look like the sort of thing I enjoyed reading as a young adult (and still do, when I can find the time) — adventure and suspense and mysterious happenings. It would be quite a treat to win a contest. A Kindle would be nice to slip in my bag (always over-full) and have handy to pull out to read when I can, rather than carrying several books.
Thanks again to those sponsoring this offer and congrats to whoever ends up winning.

  10. I would LOVE to win a Kindle! It would mean less trips to the library (which are exhausting with 3 young children in tow). It would also mean less late fees paid to the library & less fees for torn/missing books (courtesy of the 3 young children ;) ) Everyone in the house would make use of it. Thanks for the giveaway!

  11. Katherine says:

I am a brand new nursing mom and would love to have this kindle to pass the time while nursing my newborn baby girl. I have always loved to read and plan to read to my little girl while we are nursing as well so she can start to enjoy books as much as I did as a kid, I always enjoyed getting a new book and cracking it open for that new book smell. Now its time to get with the ages and stop hoarding books. So this will be a great step in that direction.

  12. I would give this to my husband because he has been wanting one for a long time and never feels that he has enough extra money to warrant spending it on himself. He loves books and has given away most of his collection to make more room in our home – 4 kids require a bit of space LOL. A kindle would allow him to collect books once again without worrying about the amount of space they take up in our home.

  13. I have wanted a Kindle since I first heard of them! My husband and I could never justify spending money on such a luxury, so thank you for the opportunity to win one! Not only would I be excited to own a Kindle, it’d provide relief, in reducing our huge physical book collection! We need as much space as possible with a baby who is soon ready to crawl. If I’d win this giveaway, my family would benefit in so many ways!

  14. megan mills says:

Would love to win my mom a kindle.

  15. Ann Fantom says:

I would love to get a Kindle because my house is already filled up with books, and the Kindle would save a lot of trees and space in my house.

Thanks to Andrea for offering this giveaway and the chance to win

  16. michelle jonassen says:

My son has wanted one of these since they came out. I would love to win this so I could give it to him for Christmas. Thanks for hosting such an amazing giveaway!

  17. I would love to have a kindle for not only myself but I would share it with my 6 year old son who is just starting out reading.  He is constantly asking me for new books. He has the reading bug like his mama.  Andrea, thank you so much for this opportunity to win this amazing gift. All of the sponsors ROCK!!! Love you guys.

  18. Whitney F says:

I would love to win a kindle fire!! And if I won this Kindle I would give it to my Grandmother! She has been wanting a tablet since they started coming out with them & with her living in another state this would be SO cool to give her and we could keep in touch better!
Thanks so much for this awesome giveaway & to ALL the sponsors!

  19. I live in a very rural area where the nearest walmart is almost an hour away. I have a teeny tiny house that has no extra space for any more books. I’ve already converted the alcove for the washer/dryer as a mini-library. So a kindle would be wonderful. Especially during the cold winter months when going outside to read is impossible. I would have access to my favorite authors in mere minutes instead of having to wait weeks to see if walmart will ever get them in or wait to order them from Amazon.

Andrea, I’m so going to look into finding your books. They sound awesome.

    Thanks for this giveaway.

  20. catherine thomas says:

well this would come in handy for my daughter. She is always asking to go to the library. the books she wants they don’t have or the library closes by the time she gets there. This would help.

  21. Would love an ereader.

  22. Margaret Smith says:

I’ve been wanting a Kindle for quite awhile now. I love to read and travel often and having a kindle would be so much easier (and lighter) to bring along a few books.
    Thanks so much:)

  23. I am an avid reading and have been just recently looking into kindles and tablets and such for e-books so that my life could be a little more organized. I would love the opportunity to enjoy this type of contest. My favorite author is James Patterson and I see all his books are now available in e-books which would be great. Thanks for the chance.

  24. Ashley Byer says:

Thank you for doing this giveaway.  I am very greatful for the opportunity to win an awesome prize like this. I have wanted a Kindle for a couple years but have not yet gotten one. I would spend many rainy evenings on the couch with my new Kindle.

    Thank you!

  25. I know exactly who would get this. My husband!! He has been wanting one because I do not share my iPad well. lol He has trouble seeing while reading and this would help him be able to read more, which he needs.

  26. So everyone says how cool an e-reader is. I have been resistent to the whole tech thing, but I have to admit it would be nice to not have to lug around my usual very thick and sturdy volume that I am reading at that moment. It would be nice to have access to several reading options and my purse and shoulder would thank you!

  27. Monique Rizzo says:

I have always wanted a kindle! My daughter does a lot of sport activities and it would be great to have all my books in one place where I can take it out and read anytime!!
    Thanks for the chance.

  28. A Kindle would be a great streamlined way of traveling with some entertainment for those holiday trips to see family. It would be relaxing to get some reading done this Christmas! Thanks for this giveaway!

  29. Thanks for the great giveaway! I adore reading, but with two little kids, I rarely have the time to shop for books in the store – I’d love to have a Kindle so I could more easily purchase and read books on a schedule that works for me. Plus, at Christmas time, we do a lot of traveling, and there just isn’t enough space for books for Mumma with all the things we pack for the kiddos! :)

  30. My good friend is an avid reader and this would make a wonderful gift. She’s had a string of bad luck lately and this would most certainly brighten her day. Thank you for the chance to win.

  31. tricia dunkle says:

I would love to win this giveaway for my husband. He really would like to have an ereader and I have yet been able to get him one. This would be an awesome christmas gift for him!

  32. kyla whitley says:

First off, I’d like to thank Andrea Pearson for this giveaway.  I can’t imagine how complex it must be to put one of these together.  Greatly appreciated.  I think if I were to win this Kindle, I would give it to my two daughters to share.  Would be interesting, considering their ages are 22 and 11.  Such fun they would have, choosing books to read.  I already own a Kindle Fire and love it.   Best of luck to everyone that enters this giveaway!  :D

  33. If I won it would mean that I would have one to use for myself. Now my son has one and it does more than just read books. (Makes him very happy) So it is a cool little thing to own and kill time with while at the docs office which I go to a lot because of a broken bone.

  34. Amy Brewer says:

I could use a kindle for me and my daughter to share because we love books. The fact that this in one you can take and doesn’t take much room and that you don’t have to hold a big bulky book is awesome.

  35. Jill A. Collins says:

I would love to win this Kindle with books for my mother. She is in an assisted living facility and has very little room in her apartment for many personal items. She is an avid reader and I think she would absolutely love this for Christmas. She could store tons of books on it and it would take up next to no space at all and it would giver her hours of pleasure!

  36. I would love to give one to my daughter for Christmas. Someday my granddaughter may even be able to use it. She can’t afford one and I think it would really make her Christmas special. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

  37. Kasee Johnson says:

I would love to win this Kindle for my 11-year-old daughter, Charlee. She has a very healthy appetite for books, and I would love for her to be able to download new content whenever she’s ready instead of having to wait for me to take her to the bookstore — an hour’s drive away.

  38. Jason Crooks says:

I am always looking to read a paper, magazine, or a book when I am on the bus to and from work. A Kindle would be much more convenient than having to lug these things around all of the time.

  39. I actually want to win this for my mom for Christmas. She is kind of hard to buy for because she doesn’t have many interests and doesn’t really “need” anything. However, she was really going nuts over the next door neighbor’s Kindle recently, so I’d like to get her one…but I can’t really afford it. :)

  40. Kim Burnett says:

I would like to win the kindle for my son because he is always taking my ipad to use and read ebooks. If I win this one he would have his own and then I could actually use mine, lol. He loves to read and enjoys new books. He would really enkoy having his own kindle!

  41. I would really like to have a kindle. I adore reading, but I know that to have every book I want to keep, well, I’d have to move to a much larger house! I love the portability of the kindle as well as the ease of use.

  42. I want to win the Kindle for my daughter,  who works very long hours and reading is her favorite way to relax.  She has been wishing for one for a very long time now!

  44. Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I would love a kindle for traveling and also to keep in my purse so I have something to read when I’m stuck waiting somewhere. I love to read, and a kindle would let me always have a good book right at hand!

  45. My husband is military and is currently deployed. Having a kindle would allow me to read some books to pass the time and hopefully take my mind off of constantly thinking about what’s going on thousands of miles away. We’re in a new place and I haven’t met a lot of people so far, so it’d be nice to have something to do in the mean time!

  46. Georgette C says:

I would like to use this kindle because I love to read. It would be great for long car rides when I don’t have to drive and it is just so much more convenient than carrying a book around all the time. I could keep it in my purse.

  47. I have wanted a Kindle for several months now. I have a few friends who own them and I’ve seen them in use. They are so neat and handy to keep in my diaper for dr. appts with the kids, etc. I love the internet functionality of it as well. I could let my daughter practice math flashcards or simply check my FB! Would love to win this. Thanks for the giveaway!

  48. always wanted an ereader so i can take it with me everywhere, also i’m out of shelf space and i’ve been missing a lot of new releases, but don’t want any more clutter

I want one so badly, I love reading and getting back and forth to the libray uses gas that we don’t have the money for,The kindle would solve all those problems including having something to read at all my physicians  appointments.  It is sometimes  a long time to get into see the doctor.  I spend a lot of time in bed and this would help because it’s hard since our computer died.  I’ve been using my MIL’s and she is on it sometimes. (we are staying with my MIL since she has some memory problems) now you see why I need one so badly, to involve myself in a book instead of trying to sit down and talk with her when she;s not talking back.   (I do love my MIL, just hard when we have our own life to .)   Thanks for great giveaway.

I would give this Kindle to my husband for Christmas if I won. We don’t have much money being in the military and having student loans. This would allow me to give a meaningful gift that I otherwise couldn’t afford. Thank you SO much for the opportunity to win this! To all who made this giveaway possible, those of us who are entering are really grateful for a chance!

  69. Oh my gosh! I would love to win this. I’ve been wanting a Kindle ever since the first one came out but haven’t had the extra money to buy one. I’m definitely a book worm and this would make taking books with me when I’m away from home a lot easier! Thank you for such a great giveaway!

If I won I would give it to my husband for christmas -n he currently reads books on his ipad but its too big. I think the kindle is a much better size for reading books

A kindle would be a lifesaver for me. I am in college and textbooks are ridiculously expensive. I came up with the idea of purchasing ebooks instead for a fraction of the cost and then I would never have to worry about the condition of my college books and if i will be able to sell them back to the bookstore or not.

  72. College isn’t so far away after all. It’s almost time for me to move out all by myself, and seldom get out because I won’t have a ton of money! An e-Reader? Well that would be perfect! That’ll give me something awesome to do while sitting in my dorm and I can even reread all my favorites AND my COLLEGE TEXTBOOKS! Which would also save me money.

  73. I would love to be able to give this Kindle to my mom.  She runs a horse stable, which she does most of the manual labor for, and also works part time as well.  I would love to be able to give this to her so that she will take some time for herself and be able to relax a little more.  She reads paper books right now and this would be a great addition for her to be able to continue to read and hopefully save some money and be more green!  Good luck to all that entered!

    brich22 at earthlink dot net

  76. I’ve been going back and forth on whether I’d like a Kindle…not that I’d currently be able to spend the money on it! But I am an obsessive reader and always look forward to new books. A good friend of mine has been recommending switching to a Kindle for a while for environmental reasons!

    wolverina401 at gmail dot com

My mom would love a kindle.  She reads all the time, at the library several times a week just to pick up new books.  She’s afraid to try an e-reader though, worries that if she spends the money and doesn’t like it, that it will be a waste.  I think once she tries it, she’ll love it!

  82. With a toddler running around all the time, quiet moments are far and few around here. I look forward to naptime, and would love to have a book to get lost in for a couple of hours. I still love my paperbacks, but a kindle would be easier to store.

  84. I would love to win this to give my mom for Christmas. She has always been an avid reader ever since I can remember. Thanks to Andrea Pearson and the wonderful bloggers that put this giveaway together.

  85. I’ve been a reader all my life & I use to have a large collection of books. Our family had to move into a smaller home & most of my collection had to go. This would really come in handy. I could have all the books I love on one small device that wouldn’t take up much space and I could take my books with me on all those long car rides. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.

  86. scarlette monahan says:

I have been debating on whether or not to get a kindle. I am findgin now that certain books(like the dean koontz series I started) are only availabel for a kindle! I still like the idea of holding a book but think a kindle is much easier to travel with

  87. michelle warner says:

i bought a kindle for myself about a year ago and my daughter has taken it over, so i would so love to have one for myself, thanks for the giveaway

  88. The Kindle would be a lifesaver. I have a number of rare medical disorders that I have to fly back and forth between the east coast and the west coast to get the help I need. There is often nothing to do but “worry.” I see the corporate set with their fancy e-devices and I can’t help but get a little jealous.

  89. Heather S says:

I would love to win a kindle so I can take my books with me everywhere. There are times when I have to kill time between meetings and this would be great to take out and read at any time. I like that it is thin and lightweight so it is easy to carry. I could also use it anywhere in the house where I want to snuggle up and read. I just love the convenience and portability.

  90. Beth Trimble says:

I would love to have a Kindle – to read while my hubby is getting chemo, or blood transfusions – it would make it so much easier.

  91. Tiffany Hoyt says:

I would like the Kindle to read in bed.

  92. Susan Smith says:

I would love to win a kindle so I can take my books with me everywhere. This would come in handy when I’m in line waiting for my daughter at school, when we travel to visit our families and when I’m at the doctor or dentist. I read a lot and the idea of not having to lug my books around is the best thing I like about the Kindle.

  93. My father and I have been planning on getting my mother a Kindle for Christmas. She’s still a huge fan of reading books the old fashioned way, but lately I have been spying her taking my Kindle and reading off of it when she thinks no one is looking. I have no problem sharing mine with her, however, I only live at home 3 months out of the year, and that’s not enough for her to finish all the books she wants to read!

  94. Timothy Bennett says:

A kindle would be the perfect gift for my brother. He has been hinting about wanting to read the great classics such as The Divine Comedy and The Odyssey.

  95. Deborah Hogue says:

I love reading but living in a home with 9+ people doesn’t leave much room for books. As it is, I already have over 1000 cookbooks and still get grief for having that many. There are so many books that are on my list to read but, if I had them all, I would have to move out to make room for them. Even so, being able to afford books upon books upon books would be a miracle in itself. If I had a kindle, I could get Amazon prime for $80 a month and use their lending library to read all the books that I want and only have to make room for the kindle.

  96. I’m so grateful for this giveaway because the kindle is on my gift wish list for a friend who is pregnant.I am throwing her a shower and I know she would love to unwrap one of these – even though its not technically a traditional baby shower gift but hey,its perfect for those nights she’ll be up feeding the baby!

  97. I would love to give this to my mom for Christmas. She could read it easier because you can adjust the font size. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  98. Stephanie Larison says:

I want one of these so badly! I’ve been reading a lot of different books lately, just like I used to before my daughter was born. It’s nice to get back into doing something for me now that she’s a bit more independent. This would be a great gift for me. Not to mention all the gas money I’d be saving going back and forth from the library. Thanks for the chance!

  99. Tonya Dean says:

I would love to win a kindle! I live in a very small town so getting new books takes forever. I can download them to my pc but reading a book on it hurts my eyes after a couple of hours. I would never be able to find the extra money to buy one so I am so happy for the chance to win one. Thank you!

    tdlsfm(at)yahoo(dot)com

  100. Brian Mungle says:

My eye sight is not the best and a friend said a kindle would be better then out of books like I have been.

  101. Crystal F says:

I would love to have this to give to my daughter for Christmas! She has to read so many books and take test on them now. I think this would help her to want to read a little more to get these books read every semester. Thank you!

  102. I would love to give this to my step daughter for Christmas. She is just learning how to read, but is super techy (even at 7!) and can’t get enough books! I can see us sitting in front of the fire place with some warm hot cocoa reading her eBooks together or even my listening while she reads to me! What a great way to encourage her to read even more!! :) Thanks for such an incredible giveaway opportunity and especially at Christmas time!

    FrugalSouthernLiving@gmail.com

  103. It would be nice to have a kindle during the winter months because we stay indoors a lot during this time. I usually read books and crochet at night all snuggled in my blanket. I’m running out of books and it would be nice to just download books from your home instead of venturing into the snow and cold to get to the library.

  104. I already have a kindle for myself and I have to say I love it. I feel like I can carry a whole library with me at all times whether I am traveling or just in front of the fireplace reading a book. If I won a kindle I would give it to a friend who is on dialysis because she could use something to keep her spirits up!

  105. Angela Neynaber says:

This would be a great gift for Christmas for my 12 year old daughter. She loves to read and has accumulated a ton of books. This would help to clear out some of the books and use the Kindle instead. I wish I could post a picture of her. She spent the WHOLE summer under our tree, reading.

  106. I would love to win this for my mom- she could borrow her books from the library without having to get out in the winter weather in NH. It’s not a huge deal for her, but with the ice and her being on oxygen and having to lug her canister, since I can’t be near her I would love to be able to make her life this little bit easier. :)

  107. Noelle Cameron says:

This is such a fantastic giveaway, I just want to say thank you first of all.  Secondly, I would love to win this as a christmas present for my mom, she LOVES to read.  She is at the library every single day and is always telling me about her new books.  She can’t afford an e-reader, she told me last year for christmas she wanted one but I couldn’t afford one either, so this would be a wonderful surprise of a present for her.  I just had a baby 5 months ago, and I try to get reading in, but it seems impossible right now!

  118. i’ve never tried a kindle before.  But i think if won,  i would give it as an xmas gift to someone who is an avid reader!

  119. Natalie Ginnow says:

I have an 11 year old son who loves to read. His room is covered in books! This would definitely reduce the amount of space his books take up. He learned the love of reading from me, and I would like to give him this kindle for Christmas. I am currently out of work, and I cannot afford much for Christmas this year. Winning this for him would make this the Best Christmas EVER! Thank you for this offering.

  120. Carolyn Daley says:

I would love to win this Kindle to give my mom this holiday season. She loves to read, but would rather spend her money on other things. I think a Kindle would make a great gift for her as she can rent ebooks from our local library. It would save her money on gas picking up the books and allow her instant access to some of the series that she loves reading. Thank you for this opportunity.

  121. I love my kindle! I would love to gift this to my family book lovers! I have enjoyed raising my family of readers!

  122. Melissa McKenna says:

I would love to win this for my granddaughter who loves to read.

  127. Jamie Martin says:

I won my girlfriend a Kindle Fire earlier this year,  as a surprise gift. However, it is one of the coolest toys ever – I don’t even have a cell phone. She is totally selfish, and NEVER lets me play with it. -joking- Having one of my own, so I could read her to sleep without having a giant light on would be great.

  128. Carol Pennington says:

I would really love to give this to my 17 year old son for Christmas.

  129. Carol Pennington says:

Sorry, my first entry submitted too quickly… I would like to give this to  son for Christmas because he is as he is an avid reader and will be going away to college soon. Thanks to Ms. Pearson.

  130. Thank you to Andrea Pearson and the sponsors of this great giveaway. I think I’ll use the Kindle as a “prize” in a charitable project that is underway (but is very delicate at this time so I can’t explain further).

  131. julie hawkins says:

Thank you Andrea Pearson for a great giveaway!  I love to cuddle up with a good book and hot cocoa in the winter.  It would be so much sweeter to do so with a kindle and an copy of your book!

  132. Beverly Metcalf says:

This would be great to have, since I love reading and this would make my life easier, having all my books on this, instead of carrying them around. Thanks!

  133. My husband and I have had a rough year – but we still feel really blessed and thankful for what we do have. I would love to win this for my husband who has been working so hard for our family. He works from before sunrise to after sundown to support and provide for us. I would love to win this Kindle for him so that he can relax (though time is often too short these days) and read a good book! I know he wants one but he will not ask for one (nor would he want me to spend the money on him!). Thank you so much for the opportunity to win!

  134. shirley zolenski says:

I would love to own a kindle. I have no e reader now and there are times I’d like to bring a book with me but it’s to clunky. Or if I do bring a book I might want to read something shorter or funny. This would just solve all those problems. This would be so awesome to win.

  135. Lucy Schwartz says:

I would l9ve to give this to my daughter for her Birthday. I have an E-Reader and I do enjoy the portability and the ability to make the font bigger for my old eyes. i do mis beingable to easily page through a book especially if I have been reading too fast and have a question about what did it say? But overall it is great. i love geting ebooks from the Library and not have to cart books home.

  136. Christian Alejandro N. says:

I had the first kindle and it was pretty cool that it motivated me to read a lot more often than before. Sadly it’s gone, so I appreciate the chance at winning this one! Fingers crossed!

  137. Jacob LaFountaine says:

Good for when you are bored. You can read a large quantity of books on one device

  138. I would use the kindle because reading is one of my favorite things to do. I have the iPad but reading on an iPad can be difficult because of the weight. The kindle is light and durable. Also great for the summer (which is what I’m always looking forward to). My roommate would also benefit from it because he always complains about not being able to read as much as he would like.

  139. My little brother is constantly carrying around bags full of books. LIterally bags full. Anytime we go anywhere, he has at least 3 or 4 books. He says he “just likes to read a lot” and actually often laments that he doesn’t have more books around (he likes variety!). I would love to get a kindle for him so that he can have all of his books at his fingertips.

  140. I would love to have a Kindle to give to my son. He is always borrowing mine so he can download more books.

  141. My mom just started reading again so this would make a great Christmas gift!

  142. I would love to have a Kindle to take when I travel for work.  I currently lug library books with me which is economical but I am always so jealous of those people with their fancy e-readers!

  143. Kelly Plehn says:

would love this for my husband.

  144. It would be so great to have because we all like to read. My son is 7 and we like him to see us read. It would be great to shut off the TV and have some family reading time.

  145. Boy it would have been nice while I was standing in line to VOTE TODAY!! Would also be great when I travel..and my mom would love it for a Christmas gift.

  146. Joanne pilborough says:

My son has just started uni and has therefore very little room in his halls for loads of books other than study books. Being able to give him an ereader for Xmas would be brilliant as he is an avid reader and budding politician who could down load his favourite books , newspaper articles and political papers to read at his measure with out the waste of space or the abilitity to leave that one book he needed at home when he returns to uni after the holidays

  147. Marie Frazier Czenkus says:

I would love an e-reader- the idea of being able to have any book right at hand. Reading is a nice escape for me since I am a stay at home mom- and we stay home alot! Sincere thank you to the sponsors for their generosity!

  148. janae metz says:

my kindle sure came in handy after hurricane sandy!! we were fortunate to make it through the storm ok, but were without power for a few days…so this was a lifesaver!!! i love to read more than anything, and would love to give this as a christmas gift!!

  149. vera hanson says:

I love entering contests (especially if I win!) Have wanted a Kindle for a while…my son-in-law has one and even takes it camping. I think it would be so great for traveling! Thank you!

  150. Even thought I’ve been balking at an E reader for a long time, I’d like to win because I think I’m ready to take the jump…I read so much and since I have 4 kids it’s hard to always get to the bookstore

  151. Would love to get this for my son. He’s been asking for one to use at school. Soon their school books will be available for download. This will be great, then he wouldn’t have to bring home all those heavy textbooks. Thanks so much for giving the opportunity for someone to receive such a great gift. Thank you!!

  152. I am an avid reader, and much to my husbands chagrin i reread my books. An ereader is just what i need so that I dont have to build any more shelves!!

  153. I love to read and to have all my books right there with me at anytime would make my life so much easier and better.

  154. I would love this for my son-he needs something to help him with his reading or I would give this to my mom who is an avid reader as her christmas gift.

  155. Chris Stenftenagel says:

I love to read and have been wanting one for a long time!!

  156. This would be a fabulous Christmas gift for my mom! She loves to read but has trouble seeing regular print books. I had heard the backlight on these is good for that and you can make the text larger too, which is awesome! Thank you so much for this fabulous giveaway! I hope the person who wins puts it to great use!!!

  157. Michelle Deckard says:

Wow! This would be awesome! I have a daughter that is a freshman this year and she LOVES to read. I cannot keep up with her reading addiction. She was finished reading all of her books at one time and I caught her reading the dictionary!! She has asked for kindle or any kind of reader for over a year. We just cannot afford that at this time. It would be a God thing if this were to actually happen. But I know that whoever receives this will be blessed. I want to thank the generous provider of such an amazing give away prize. May God bless you as you are a generous giver!! <3

  158. Sara Sweatman says:

I would love to win this for my niece.  She is a really good girl. She gets straight As and LOVES to read.  It would be really meaningful to her and our family because we are not in the position to afford luxuries.  I think that it would compliment her love for reading and it would also help her fit in.  A lot of her classmates have Kindles and use them for reading assignments in school.  Thank you so much for the opportunity to win. I am hopeful that if I win a prize or two it would help out so much for Christmas this year!

  159. Perfect giveaway.

  160. Jodi Shaw says:

It’s the only thing on MY wish list this year

  161. Brooke F. says:

I would use this with my 2-year-old and whenever I want to read a book myself. I love the idea of having less clutter in my house and I could greatly reduce the number of books we have in our shelves.

  162. I’d love to win a Kindle for our family! I would use it every day to read ebooks while I’m work, while I’m waiting before appointments, and at night I could use it to read to the kids. Thank you for the opportunity!

  163. We are taking a trip to Mexico later this winter and I would love to have a Kindle loaded with books for me to enjoy pool or ocean side! Our oldest daughter is just learning how to read and I would like to use a Kindle to help introduce her to the joy of reading and share my love of it with her:)

  164. Ellen Barth says:

I would love to have a Kindle because I love to read! It would be a lightweight way to be able to have many books with me when I have a few minutes to read. I would also be able to keep track of recipes and craft ideas I find online.

  165. Brittany Hampton says:

I would love to win this! I love to read especially since its cold out. I love curling up by the fire and reading. I’ve been wanting a Kindle since they first came out and my mom got one. She never let me use it she loved it so much she didnt want to put it down lol. Thank you so much for this giveaway and the chance to make one of my dreams come true!!!

  166. I am torn. I do not know whether or not I want to keep it for myself or give it to my aunt for Christmas. I think I will flip a coin.

  167. Thank you for this great giveaway, especially right around the Holidays. I would love to give this to my husband for his upcoming Birthday. He loves to read books and he reads multiple books at a time and so this would be the perfect thing for him, so he would have all of his books in one place. He would be thrilled. Thank you again!

  168. I really want a Kindle. I love to read and think it would be great to have one.

  169. Holly Folkerts says:

Would love a Kindle for myself. I got one earlier this year and my mom took to it and had yet to give it back. I read everyday, would be great for being out and about.

  170. Thanks for the chance to win!

    grapeapril75(at)gmail(dot)com

  171. I really want a kindle because I am a serious books worm and really want a way to carry my library with me.  I need this for my holiday vacation reading!

Thanks for the chance to win!

    grapeapril75(at)gmail(dot)com

  172. Great for waiting at doctor appointments!

  173. Thanks for the giveaway!

  174. Natalie J says:

Would love to win this for my mom. ty!

  175. Natalie J says:

I want to win this to give to my mom for her birthday. I learned to read at the age of three and have always enjoyed reading.  My mom doesn’t have that much money and would not be able to have something like a KIndle unless someone bought it for her.
    TY Andrea for the giveaway.

  176. I would love to win this for my mother-in-law. She loves to read, and is always admiring my niece’s Kindle! This would make the PERFECT gift for her, as she travels and rides in the car with my father-in-law over the course of the winter!
Thank you for the amazing giveaway!
    God Bless you!
    Kristen

  177. I would love to win, because we home school 6 kids and are trying to get them each a Kindle to use for school. Who can afford 6 Kindles?! So I am trying to win a few… or even one to help out… :)

  178. I would loooove to have a Kindle! I homeschool my children and it would come in really handy right now. We have a new baby in the house and a kindle would be much easier to hold and read out loud to my kiddos than a real book would. Besides homeschooling I’m an avid reader so any way you look at it. I could use one. Thanks for the giveaway! :)

  179. I pick my daughter up every day from school, and I don’t want to be late, so I’m typically 10 minutes or so early, so this would be nice to have to read while I wait. Also I get allergy shots every other week, and it requires waiting for the shot and then having to wait for 30 minutes after the shot to make sure I don’t have a bad reaction, so this would be fantastic for filling that time. Thank you for the opportunity!

  180. Oh my gosh! A Kindle would be amazing! We’re running out of space for all the books that we have and with the huge list of books I want to read, we would need to either get a bigger place to live, or downsize our collection. (booooooooo!)

  181. Lorraine Fuller says:

My husband gave me a kindle a few years back as a Christmas/birthday/ Valentines/anniversary gift. I loved it. He was thinking about trying to stop the pile of used books I would buy where ever I could find a sale. I just wanted to read. I found free books, lots of them! I found free cookbooks and parenting books and Bible studies and how to books. I found kids books and books for teens. All free. I found games for my kids to play. Several times I have been in waiting rooms and helped frazzled moms by reading to their kids storybooks that are on my kindle. I take it everywhere. Even in the bathtub (in a gallon size zip lock bag) until last week when it died. I tried everything to get it fixed and its too old to be worth repairing I am told. I am so sad. It’s like loosing my best friend. So I would love to win another one to replace my beloved friend. Two of my kids are special needs and I am dealing with some health issues so we spend a lot of time in doctors offices. It’s been a lifesaver.

  182. Chris Keen says:

Thanks for the great giveaway!  I love to enter these things but I REALLY love to find new FB pages to read.  Always some new take or twist on books, reading, e-books or just life in general.

I want to win this one in particular because everyone around here has a Kindle but my youngest son.  I would give it to him (take off these nifty contest books for MY Kindle LOL) and put on e-books he would enjoy.  He’s currently a detective fan so Amazon here I come to choose some great books for him.

  183. I am an avid reader and I would love to have a kindle so I can read while away from home. A lot of the books I read are pretty thick and it just gets impractical to carry them around with me.  A kindle would afford me being able to have lots of variety available to choose from without have a 400 pound bag of books!. Thanks so much the giveaway and thanks to Andrea Pearson as well!

  184. Ashley Oakley says:

I’d love to win a kindle! I have a one year old and I think it’d be great to read bedtime stories on and also I have a room full of books, and I need to condense for more space lol

  185. I have a Kindle which I absolutely love! So, if I were to win this one, I would give it as a gift. I believe I would give it to my daughter as she too is a lover of books!

  186. Rachel Mullins says:

I would really love to have a Kindle because I bought one for my husband last Christmas and I am constantly stealing it. If I could have my own kindle, my husband can have custody of his kindle again! It would be great for us to sit and read on our Kindle’s together!

  187. I’d love to win this… I love to read… this would make is soo much easier.  I’m currently reading everything on the kindle app on my smartphone and I’d love to have something bigger to curl up on the couch under a warm blanket with.
