Things have been crazy here!
Since the girls go to year-round school, they’re actually only out of school for “Summer Break” for about 5 weeks. We took a trip to Busch Gardens right after school ended.
Then took another trip to the beach a couple of weeks later.
Add a week in for back-to-school shopping, doctors’ appointments and end-of-break trips to the pool and our break was over.
I can’t believe how fast it’s flown by!
Now the girls are back in school and my son is getting ready to start pre-school. In a couple of weeks I’ll have 4 carpools, a walk-in drop off and a walk-in pick up every day, homework to help with, after-school sports and events to drive to and the usual errands to run.
This will be my view much of the day:
Since we’ve gone from our laid-back summer to jumping right back into a hectic school year, I’ve been having a hard time adjusting. I feel like I’m missing appointments and school deadlines and we’re only a couple of weeks in.
I have a family calendar on the fridge for trips and parties and a blog work planner on my desk, but neither includes all of the kids’, my husband’s and my appointments and important dates. I realized that I needed an extra planner for that, with room to really plan out the hours of each day.
So I made one. 🙂

Feel free to print it out for yourself if you’d like!
Maybe we can get organized together. 🙂

I love this! There are days I have so many appointments and errands that I feel overwhelmed some days trying to remember everything.
