When is the last time you really got away? No kids, no responsibilities, and no work? Whether you headed out on a road trip with friends or booked a quiet weekend alone, if you’ve ever had a “Mom’s Escape” of your own, then you understand how amazing they can be.
If you haven’t ever had one, it might just be time for you to start. And I’ve got the perfect place for your getaway – Dreams Tulum!
Last week, I was invited to the gorgeous Dreams Tulum resort with The Moms for a one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive, Mom’s Escape. It was just what I needed – time to rest, relax and recharge along the beautiful Tulum coast.
As soon as I arrived, the pampering began. I was welcomed to the resort with a chilled glass of champagne and a friendly staff ready to help with my every want and need. In the few minutes it took to be checked in, my luggage was whisked away to my room, I had my resort map and room key, and my vacation had begun!
As I was escorted to my suite, I was able to take in the magnificent grounds throughout the resort. Everywhere I looked, there were lush gardens, palm trees and exotic flowers. It was absolutely beautiful!
I’ll admit, I peeked a little online before I left home, trying to picture what my room would look like. But as I stepped into my Premium Junior Suite with a beautiful ocean view, I realized it was absolutely beyond anything I’d imagined.
The spacious room contained a large, canopied bed with a separate sitting area steps down from the bedroom area. Beyond the sitting area, I stepped out onto my private balcony, where I caught my first glimpse of the sparkling Caribbean Sea.
Everything I could possibly need was included in the suite – from a desk and work area to a refrigerator and mini-bar to a safe for valuables. The gorgeous bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and almost every bath accessory a girl could need on vacation.
I couldn’t wait to see more of the resort, so I headed outside to walk around. Just steps away from my building, there were two enormous pools along the beach. One was a more active area, with entertainment and music, while the other was serene and quiet. I loved that I’d have the chance to enjoy both, depending on what I was in the mood for.
As I walked around, I stopped into several of the different bars and restaurants to see what they were offering for dinner. The staff members were all so friendly and helpful, ready and offering to get me whatever I needed. And there was never any shortage of food or drinks available . Everywhere I went, I had easy access to a restaurant, buffet or bar to satisfy my cravings.
When I’d ask about vegetarian menu choices, I was told that the chefs would always be happy to make something special for me if I didn’t see anything on the menu that would work. I was able to find wonderful food choices at all of the restaurants we went to at the resort, so I didn’t ever take them up on it, but I was so impressed that they offered!
I picked up a frozen drink at one of the bars and headed down to the beach with a book. As part of the Preferred Club, I was able to use one of the cabana beds on the secluded, private area of the beach. I sat, read a book and sipped on a fruity cocktail, while I enjoyed the beautiful ocean in front of me. Let me tell you, it was Heaven!
While I was at Dreams Tulum, I was able to take advantage of the world-class Dreams Spa by Pevonia, an on-site paradise of spa therapy. I started in the hydrotherapy room with a Jacuzzi soak, moved to an invigorating plunge in the cold-pool, and then relaxed in the sauna and steam room.
All the stress of my life back home was massaged away as I took advantage of the wonderfully pampering spa treatments.
It was such a wonderful experience that I immediately planned another massage for the following day.
I spent another several days at the beautiful Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa relaxing in much the same way. Hours were spent reading on the private beach, relaxing in the gorgeous pools and enjoying all of the amenities included in a Dreams resort stay.
It was one of the most wonderful vacations stays that I’ve ever enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back to Dreams Tulum Resort!
