The last time I did (well, really did) Weight Watchers, I was planning my wedding.
I wanted to lose the extra pounds I’d put on since college and Weight Watchers was perfect for me. I was more aware of what I ate, how much I ate and how active I was. And I went to a meeting every single week.
Those meetings were crucial for me. I liked the interaction with other women who wanted to get healthier. I loved getting great tips and recipes from others. And I really enjoyed the encouragement and support that I got every meeting, from the other women and from the leaders.

After having my first baby, I thought it would be great to the baby weight off with Weight Watchers. I went back to the same meeting place with my daughter and was excited to get started. But my daughter was fussy and tired, and because I was an unsure, new mom, I didn’t want to annoy anyone with the noise. I ended up staying outside of the meeting more than I was in it, peeking in the back door only when my baby was completely quiet.
I ended up deciding to do the plan at home by myself since I’d already been so successful with Weight Watchers once before.
But, you know what I learned?
I need that encouragement. That interaction and support. The accountability of someone checking on me.
And while my husband is sweet and says all the right things, I need support from someone who really gets it. Who knows how to help me succeed in my weight loss journey and will be there throughout to cheer me on. Without that interaction and accountability, I stopped following the plan almost immediately.
Which is why I’m thrilled to now have my very own Weight Watchers Personal Coach.

My Personal Coach from Weight Watchers means real support from a real person. A person who has lost weight and who really gets it.
My coach is dedicated to working with me and to helping me succeed. I shared my personal habits and goals with her so we could create a customized program just for me.
Weight Watchers Personal Coach Features:

I was able to choose my own coach based on their personal bios and our schedules. I wanted a coach who has lost a fairly significant amount of weight and kept it off for a year or two (but not too long, so she’ll still remember how hard it is!).
My coach has a lot in common with me and I love being able to get the support and accountability that I need again.
In addition to the changes I’m making in my eating, I’m also making an effort to be active every single day. Right now, we’re doing hikes in the woods and walks through the neighborhood, and I’d love to eventually move toward going on runs.
