Do you have a brand of foods that you just love? That you can feel good about choosing for your family and that has lots of products that you all enjoy?
Back to Nature is one of those brands for me. Since 1960, Back to Nature has been creating flavorful and affordable products that are simply delicious, simply good.
Look at these Quinoa Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies. Don’t they look amazing? They are sooooo good!
I’ll admit right now that I’m not the most well-versed mom on GMO. I was probably one of the last moms in town to start buying organic and non-GMO foods for my family because I just didn’t realize how important it can be. But it finally started to freak me out a little that I had no idea what was going into my kids’ foods. Even if I read the ingredients, many brands weren’t being upfront and honest about what is really in their products.
I’m paying more attention than ever before to the brands I’m supporting and buying. With over 70 Back to Nature products that have obtained Non-GMO Product Verification, I feel good about serving them to my family.
What is non-GMO Project Verification?
The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization that independently offers GMO verification and labeling recommendations for non-GMO products. The Non-GMO Project is the only organization offering independent verification for GMO products in the US and Canada.
Back to Nature’s non-GMO verified product are in compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard, having undergone facility inspections and an annual audit to ensure that the highest possible standards for GMO avoidance are met. In addition, approximately 300 ingredients were carefully sourced and tested to ensure that all non-GMO Back to Nature products continue to be the same flavorful and delicious foods we’ve come to love.
Back to Nature knows that it’s important for moms like me to know what is in the foods I’m buying and where those product ingredients are sourced. For that reason, Back to Nature is committed to transparency in ingredient sourcing and is working towards obtaining Non-GMO Project Verification for every one of their products by the end of the year. I love that!
We have loved every one of the Back to Nature foods we’ve tried so far, including cookies, crackers, nuts and trail mixes, granola, juices, soups, and cereals. The kids’ favorites are the Dark Chocolate Coconut Granola and pretty much all of the cookies (of course). My absolute favorites, though, are the crackers – especially the Rosemary Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers, Sundried Tomato Basil Crispy Wheat Crackers, Roasted Garlic & Herb Stoneground Wheat Crackers, and Harvest Whole Wheat Crackers. So, so, so good!
