I’ve always been a huge cat lover. Ever since I was a little girl, we’ve always had cats in the family. And now that I have kids, I see that they love cats just like I do.
Right now we have 3 cats: Monkey, Mouse and Max.
This is Monkey:
She’s bigger now, but still the smallest of our cats. And Monkey’s the craziest too. A few of the kitten antics have eased up, but she’s still the cat that attacks toes late at night, climbs on top of everything and knocks things off of tables and shelves for fun. But she’s cute and hilarious and sleeps with the girls every night, so she’s their favorite.
This is Max:
Max is our oldest cat. My husband had her before we started dating and she’s around 15 years old now. She’s been having a lot of health problems over the last year, but we’ve got her on some medications to make her more comfortable and hopefully improve her health some. Max rules the house a bit since we all have been pampering her so much.
And lastly there is Mouse:
Mouse is the sweetest cat I’ve ever had. She purrs constantly and loves to be around us. If I sit down, she’ll sit beside me and stretch her paw out to touch me. At night, Mouse sleeps on top of our bed and purrs whenever we move.
So those are our sweet cats. They’re like members of the family and we do what we can to make their lives happy and fun. They all give us companionship and comfort and make our lives better.
BUT.
Cat litter stinks.
It literally stinks, of course. But cat litter also stinks because it’s no fun to scoop, no fun to change out and no fun to transport.
With three cats, we go through a lot of litter and that means I buy large, heavy litter containers that are bulky and difficult to move.
So I was intrigued when I heard about Cat’s Pride.
Cat’s Pride is a low-dust, quick clumping litter with total odor control. It comes in scented and fragrance-free and is the only litter recommended by the American Humane Association. Those are all qualities I want and need in a cat litter, of course, but the thing I most love about Cat’s Pride is actually it’s weight.
Cat’s Pride Fresh & Light litter is up to 25% lighter than other cat litters. And when my tennis elbow is acting up, that can make a huge difference to me. I’ve had to ask my husband to buy litter and bring it into the house in the past because the containers were too difficult to lift with my elbow pain.
But when I’m out grocery shopping and want to get everything we need, a lighter box Cat’s Pride cat litter means I can get everything I need without his help. I can lift the Cat’s Pride into my cart, into the car, into the house and while I’m pouring and changing the litter boxes. That makes a big difference for me.
I’ve been very pleased with Cat’s Pride Fresh & Light cat litter. The cats have used it without any problems and I like the light, fresh scent of the scented litter.
