This is going to sound crazy – and it may put me in the vast minority – but of all of the chores I do around my house, cleaning wood floors is one of my absolute favorites. I am not sure what it is about mopping the floors in my house, but I find it so relaxing. I love to put earbuds in, crank up the music, and dance around while I get my floor sparkling clean.
My old mop just wasn’t cutting it any more. It seemed to spread more dirt than it picked up, so I bought a new mop on my last trip to Walmart – the O-Cedar ProMist Mop. I have to say, whether you hate mopping or are like me and enjoy it, this mop is for you.

I am pretty particular about what I want on my floors, so this was a huge bonus for me. The washable microfiber pads have millions of microscopic fibers that hold dirt, dust, hair and moisture to get my floors sparkling clean. The mop head is even double sided – so I can scrub off even ground in dirt. Or I can just use disposable mop covers instead, which makes it even easier to keep clean.
Maybe the best part about the O-Cedar ProMist is how easy it is to use. With three kids in the house, I need something I can easily grab and use quickly. I want to be able to mop without having to get out a bucket and drag it across the floor. Plus, since it is so light weight, even the kids can grab it to use for simple clean ups. My girls even seem to have picked up on my crazy love of mopping since we got this mop. They love to spray the mist out and mop it right back up. I love seeing them have fun while they help clean!
