I hate to clean.
Which is a shame since we have three little kids, 3 cats, a dog (part-time) and there is usually something that needs to be cleaned. Especially in the bathrooms and the kitchen. Grimy, dried on, mysterious messes and stains that I don’t want to get up close and personal with. I just want them gone.
I’d heard of CLR before, but thought it was for rust? Or lime stains? We’ve never had rust problems and I didn’t think we’d had lime, so I never tried CLR in my house. As it turns out, the CLR Bath & Kitchen Cleaner cleans all sorts of nasty stains and messes, even really tough spots. It does the work so moms like me don’t have to!
Check out my very first experience with CLR Bath & Kitchen Cleaner. This is the bathroom sink in an old rental home that my parent’s own. It’s been sitting vacant for a long time while they remodel some other rooms. I’ve cleaned this sink myself several times, but the white spots on the faucet never really went away. They would fade a little when they were just washed, but would slowly reappear.
I knew that it would be the perfect spot for CLR, so I used it for my first test. The CLR bottle is a spray bottle, so I expected a liquid stream to come out. Instead, the CLR was a thick foam that easily covered and coated the faucet.
I left it on for a minute while I sprayed some other areas for cleaning. When I came back, I wiped the faucet off quickly. I didn’t scrub at all, just wiped it clean. And the spots were completely gone.
I’m impressed! I left the bottle for my parents to use on their rental houses since they’ve have this problem in other spots, but I’m defintely buying another bottle for myself! I’ve never had such an easy job cleaning such a tough area. I can’t wait to just spray it all over the shower, come back later to rinse it off and see how well it works!
