I can not believe that it is almost the end of 2015! It seems like Thanksgiving was just a few days ago and I still had plenty of time to get ready for Christmas.
I’m not sure where all of that time went, because I certainly didn’t feel like I had time to get everything ready this holiday season! So instead of spending a lot of time shopping for different presents this year, I took a short cut and made gift baskets.
I made one shopping trip to Walmart to get lots of goodies, then made up different gift baskets for my family and friends. There were some movie-lover gift baskets, several craft-lover baskets, and, of course, we had to have a few coffee-lover baskets.
For the coffee-lover baskets, I chose different flavors of Dunkin’ Donuts® coffee that I thought the recipient would like. There were so many wonderful flavors – from Caramel, Chocolate, and French Vanilla, to Hazelnut, Vanilla, Pumpkin Spice, and White Chocolate Peppermint. Once I’d chosen the perfect flavor, I paired the flavor with a homemade treat and a couple of nice coffee mugs.
If the coffee was a sweet flavor like White Chocolate Peppermint or Caramel, I included homemade banana bread. If the gift basket included the Original Blend or Colombian roasts, I added a sweeter treat, like homemade cookies. I think that the food pairings will all go wonderfully with the delicious flavors of the Dunkin’ Donuts® coffees.
If you have a few more people to get gifts for this holiday season, these coffee-lover gift baskets couldn’t be easier. Just get a pretty basket or tin, add your favorite Dunkin’ Donuts® flavor of coffee, a couple of nice coffee mugs and a sweet treat. Wrap it all up with a fancy shrink-wrap or bow, and you’re done! You’ll have a coffee-lover gift basket that your family and friends will adore.
