Dear Other Pre-School Moms (also known as Playground Moms),
I understand that there is some serious gossip going around that you absolutely MUST discuss. Right now. With each other. Or on the phone. Or both.
There’s a problem, though. All these kids? Over here with me? They’re not actually all mine. I only have 3 kids. The rest are yours.
Yes, it’s true that I’m already over here on the playground. Helping the kids climb the ladders, lifting them onto the monkey bars and pushing their swings. Seems like it would be easy for me to help everyone since I’m already here, I guess. But see, it’s not.
Your kid that keeps yelling “Lady, look what I can do!”? He’s not so cute after a while. And your daughter who wants me to lift her into the baby swing and then push her? Not actually my responsibility.
I’m sure that me getting annoyed will give you even more to gossip about, but I just thought you should know.
See you tomorrow when we do it all over again,
Mickey
