My family has gone through a lot of changes in the last year. Although we had some illnesses and some losses, we also had great rewards and successes over the last twelve months. As we begin this new year, we’re trying to ensure that we have more happy occasions and fewer sad ones, whenever possible.
Because we want for every member of our family to have many more years to enjoy, we’ve made changes in our daily routines. We have changed the way we eat, changed how much we eat, and are making sure we’re much more active.
Instead of a lot of sugary desserts and processed sweets, I’ve tried to make more wholesome and nutritious treats for the kids. Our favorite treats right now are these awesome Easy Fudge Pops.
Easy Fudge Pops Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups Milk or Vanilla Almondmilk
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients, then pour into a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.
2. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
3. Pour into molds and place in the freezer. Freeze several hours until firm.
Enjoy!
I love this recipe because of the wonderful taste, but also because I can feel good about the ingredients I use in it.
