Potty Training
Although I already have two potty-trained children, I’m not sure I feel any more prepared with #3 than I did with #1. Well, that’s not true. I should say that at least now I have the knowledge that all children are different and that what works for one may not work for another.
That was the case with my first two children and knowing my toddler son’s temperament, it will likely be the case with him too. He’s hilarious and full of energy and life, but definitely has strong opinions on what he wants.
Some days, he wants to be a big boy. He’ll wear his big boy Pull Ups, ask us to read a potty book and will talk about going to the potty like his sisters. On other days, he wants his diaper and couldn’t care less about the potty or the books. But whether he’s feeling like a big boy or not, he still hasn’t actually USED the potty yet.
I’m a Pull-Ups Ambassador!
I’m excited to announce that I was chosen for the Pull-Ups “First Flush” Ambassador Program!
We’re going to work together to encourage our children and celebrate with them while they learn to use the potty. We’ve got lots of fun ideas to share and will even be having a party! It will be a “Why Wait – Let’s Celebrate! First Flush Party” for all of our friends with kids around the same age and we’re already looking forward to it. Just haveing friends over to play is fun enough, but I’m also looking forward to my son seeing other children talk about and get excited about the potty with him.
