When my daughter was a toddler, my husband and I decided to put her into a local pre-school. She was extremely shy and wasn’t used to playing with other children, so we wanted her to have that experience at a local school. I’d started several playgroups and signed up for a couple of Mommy and Child classes in the area, but my daughter would just sit on my lap and refused to interact with the other kids
I needed a school that would help her learn to become more independent and to encourage her to play with other children. She needed to learn to wait her turn, to share and to get used to being away from Mommy from time to time.
We searched all of the local schools, read reviews and toured the facilities to find the school that would be best for her.
La Petite Academy was a school that ended up at the top of our list.
