It’s not an uncommon topic of discussion among parents – how often should kids be allowed to use tech products? In our house, we have a set amount per day depending on whether there is school or not. The kids are allowed to go a little over that amount for educational activities and as a reward for good behavior.
But no matter how good they behave or how educational the tech program is, the simple fact is that we want them doing other things.
Playing outside. Getting exercise. Breathing fresh air. Playing and interacting with friends and neighbors. And the best place to do all of those things?
On a spread of soft, lush, green grass.
When we first moved into our house, my husband was determined to do the yardwork himself. For several years, he aerated, planted seed, fertilized, watered and weeded. He spent countless hours on the grass and did everything he could to grow a healthy green lawn. And every year, we had a greenish-brown, rough lawn filled with empty spots and weeds.
After several years of hard work and unsuccessful results, we finally decided to call TruGreen. Within a couple of months, our lawn looked completely different. The grass was greener, softer and healthier. The weeds were gone and bared patches were starting to be covered over. It was amazing!
We’ve now used TruGreen for years and love it. Our lawn has never been healthier, prettier or more inviting for the kids.
TruGreen believes that we should live more life outside, and my husband and I agree. We’re more active and more connected with our friends and neighbors and with nature, all thanks to our healthy TruGreen lawn.
Here’s a great infographic from TruGreen that shows exactly what I mean:
