3. USS Midway Museum

The USS Midway is an aircraft carrier that has been transformed into a maritime museum and permanently docked at Navy Pier. From 1946 to 1990, the Midway was an active aircraft carrier, longer than any other carrier in the history of the U.S. Navy. Visitors to the museum will be able to tour the entire carrier and see what life was like for the nearly 200,000 sailors who called it home while it was in active service. There are also 20 planes that are permanently on display.
4. San Diego Automotive Museum
If you want to escape the heat and cool off indoors for a few hours, make a visit to the San Diego Automotive Museum. If you are a car lover, you will be blown away by the massive collection of cars they have on display, some of which are more than 100 years old. You will be able to see the amazing advancements that have been made in automotive technology.
