As a mom with two young daughters, I know that it’s important to celebrate girls. I grew up with two brothers and am thankful that my parents treated us equally, encouraged us all to work hard to achieve our goals.
I try to do the same thing with my little girls, to encourage them, support them and empower them whenever I can. I want to be a good role model for them and show them how girls can succeed if they do their best.
So even though my girls are still young, I believe that it’s important for my husband and me to encourage them. To support their dreams and aspirations in their daily lives, in what we teach them, and even in their playtime.
I’m thrilled to see some of their favorite toys supporting those ideals. Mattel’s Barbie dolls and Monster High ghouls are now doing their part to help celebrate girl empowerment with some of their new dolls.
Monster High ghouls are a fun way for girls to learn about the wonderful strengths, uniqueness and positive qualities of girls. Through the power of play, girls learn bravery, honesty, acceptance, and kindness, on a level that they understand and can put into practice in other aspects of their lives.
I love watching my girls work together as a team when they play with dolls. Whether they’ve been playing more on their own or acting fussy around each other, they immediately start working together when they play dolls. They love to help each other dress up their new Monster High Create-A-Monster head.
Here are my daughters having a blast with Monster High Fierce Rockers 2-Pack – Catty Noir and Toralei ghouls. They create scenarios to act out and cooperate with each other. It’s wonderful to see.
Along with their favorite Monster High ghouls, my girls are also excited about the new Barbie dolls that have been recently released. The new Barbie Fashionistas come in Curvy, Tall and Petite, in addition to the Original body style to celebrate a broader view of beauty in women. The girls are looking forward to playing with the new Barbie Fashionistas, as well as the fun new Career Barbies like the Doctor, Chef and “Career of the Year” Director Doll.
