I can tell you firsthand how cool this really is. I received a Cloud 9 certificate was so excited!
I immediately went online to choose an adventure. Within a few minutes, I found experiences I never even imagined doing – like going to Motorcycle School, Driving a Dragster, and Playing Golf with a PGA Pro! There were so many cool things that I would love to do, but once I saw Sky Diving I knew what I wanted!
I’ve always thought about going sky diving, but never even knew where to start looking. I live just outside of a big city and thought there wouldn’t be anywhere close I could go. It turns out that less than 2 hours away, my sky diving adventure was waiting for me, thanks to Cloud 9.
I went to “Redeem Code” at the top of the Cloud 9 Living website. I entered my gift certificate code and was able to choose the dates I was able to go skydiving. The same day, I got a call from a Cloud 9 consultant who told me the dates sky diving slots were available and booked the appointment for me. She was so friendly and answered all of my questions. (They were almost all answered on the information page of the Sky Diving experience, but I was nervous and wanted to be sure I knew what would happen.) My consultant even offered to call the Sky Diving Company and get the answer to a question I had that wasn’t covered. She got back to me right away with the answer. (Yes, you can sky dive in winter, no matter how cold it is, as long as it’s not too snowy/icy/dangerous for the plane to take off/fly/land.)
My adventure was booked! I was so excited!
And scared! 🙂
A couple of weeks later, my husband, kids and I all drove up to Victoria, Virginia to ‘No Limits’ Sky Diving. I was greeted by a representative who knew exactly who I was and that I was diving with a Cloud 9 Living certificate. Payment for the jump was already covered and taken care of, so all I had to decide on was whether to buy a video an t-shirt.
Next, I met the pilot and my instructor, Matt. Matt went over what would happen during the flight, getting out of the plane, falling and landing. Honestly, since it was tandem diving, all I really needed to do was keep my head, arms and legs where he told me and Matt did all the work. 🙂
