We’ve been having a ball taking family trips to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, over the past year. There are lots of awesome seasonal shows and events that make each trip unique and exciting, and this summer was no exception.
We got the chance to enjoy the Food and Wine Festival again this year and really enjoyed it. It’s a wonderful chance to sample authentic tastes of food and wine from all over the world while we enjoy a day at Busch Gardens.
We had a full day to walk around and let the kids have fun on the rides as we strolled throughout the park and enjoyed the Food and Wine Festival. Our kids always love to go to the Land of the Dragons, so we let them climb and play there before heading over to enjoy the food.
One of our favorite things at the Food and Wine Festival this year was the Food Art. There were various stands throughout the park where food artists created the most amazing flowers, people, and intricate artistic shapes – all out of food.
We are hoping to get back again before the festival ends this year to take the Wine on the Rhine cruise. It’s a relaxing cruise on the Rhine River boats complete with wine, fresh fruit, cheese and sweet treats. The kids would love to see the views from the boats and my husband and I would enjoy the time to relax and enjoy a delicious glass of wine.
Be sure to take advantage of this fun festival at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! The Busch Gardens Williamsburg Food and Wine Festival is on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through June 28.
