Our kids are in a year-round charter school. That means that they do get a summer break, but it’s much shorter than those never-ending summers I remember from my childhood. We pack a lot of fun into those five week breaks, but there’s so much more the kids want to do. So even though the kids are back in school, in our town, the summer activities continue.
The weather is still so gorgeous outside that it can be hard to stay inside once the studying is finished. The kids are going to sports clinics, taking art classes and even going to after-school camps.
It’s great to see them having so much fun, and I make sure to capture some of those moments in photos.
My oldest daughter has been playing soccer for years and loves it. Her school’s soccer season is in the Spring so for now she’s enrolled in a soccer clinic.
My son just started taking his first sports lessons ever. Like his big sister, he loves soccer, so we let him join the local kids’ soccer league.
He’s totally swallowed up by the smallest uniform sizes they had and looks adorable running up and down the little field.
When the kids are playing sports, I make sure that I’m using my when I take pictures. Instead of missing the action shots, I can take a 4K Ultra HD video with 30 amazing frames-per-second. Then later on, I can pick out the perfect shots, not missing a single piece of the action.
My LUMIX G7 was also perfect for our recent trip to Universal Orlando. We took the kids down for a long weekend over Labor Day and I had a blast getting great shots of the fun.
Whether it was the moment my son was hit by a splash of water in the water park or getting crystal clear photos of my son on a roller coaster as it whizzes by, the didn’t miss a second of the action.
I even caught my son talking to a shrunken head outside of Diagon Alley! I’m so relieved to have the proof in photos:
The Panasonic LUMIX G7 is perfect for moms of busy kids. It’s light and compact, so it’s easy to carry around, and I get better video and action shots than I ever got with my smartphone or DSLR.
The LUMIX G7 even has Exclusive DFD Focusing the auto focuses and tracks the subject. That means that my camera will chase my kids down the field and I don’t have to try to do it manually. I love it!
Whether I’m taking first-day-of-school photos or getting the perfect action shot during a sports game, the Panasonic LUMX G7 is exactly what I need.
