I love Halloween! It’s so much fun to plan for. We start thinking about costumes, decorations and party plans a couple of months early. There are just so many possibilities!
And the absolute BEST thing about this time of year? Halloween Crafts!
I’ve done a lot of creepy and crawly-type crafts in the past, but wanted to do some kid-friendly crafts this year. My toddler son is now old enough to finally notice the Halloween decorations, but young enough to still be afraid of a lot of it.
I thought some colorful and fun candy crafts would be a great way to dress up the house without scaring young ones. I got some great ideas for Halloween crafts from Tori Spelling (love her!) and Candy Corns candies.
Look at these adorable crafts Tori made:
Adorable cupcakes and krispy cereal treats, funky picture frames and cute Halloween favors – I love them all!
This next craft is one of my favorites too. Tori creates a gorgeous “BOO!” door hanging with letters, Starburst Candy Corn and burlap. Isn’t it cool?
I decided to recreate Tori’s Magnificent Mum Ball and Halloween Favor Jars. By hot gluing the Starburst Candy Corn candies onto styrofoam balls, Tori created gorgeous decor pieces that will be amazing table centerpieces on Halloween.
I chopped off the bottom of the styrofoam ball so it would stand up and then hotglued the Starburst candies. My candy corn colors seemed brighter than Tori’s, but I think the result is just as pretty:
I hot glued a yellow candy at the top of the styrofoam ball and then added 2 yellow rows around it, then 2 orange rows around that and the rest pink candies.
The entire craft was really easy and took about 30 minutes. I had to re-glue a couple of candies that popped off when I was trying to hold the ball up to get near the bottom, but otherwise everything went well.
I used some of the leftover Starburst Candy Corns for Halloween Favor Jars:
I just filled little jars with the Starburst Candy Corn and then tied with a ribbon and little ‘Happy Halloween’ tag. The result is adorable and would be a great Halloween party favor or treat for kids.
Do you love fun Halloween crafts?

I just love this!!!! In fact, I love it so much I’d love to share on my Mason Jar Crafts Love blog. Yes, the whole mason jar thing is a stretch … but I thought I’d use the one picture with your Halloween favors in mason jars (with that awesome candy corn ball in the background) with a clear link back and a tease about that awesome candy corn centerpiece in the background!
Let me know if it’s okay! Thanks so much for your consideration!

Both ideas are really festive, I really like the jars! If I find ‘Christmas color’ candy corn this year, I may do that for a center piece in December!

I love crafting, but I havent really done much for Halloween, ever. This is a great idea, especially with the candy corn pieces, but I would be so sad to not be able to eat it. I am addicted to candy corn and I stock up on those mellowcreme pumpkins every year! :p
