In our family, Italian food is always a hit. Whether I’m cooking pots of pasta for a huge family get-together or just whipping up a little something for dinner, I know that Italian food is always a safe bet.
Everyone loves the taste of al dente pasta or a rich sauce, but for most people here, pizza is king. There are so many different ways to create pizza – with different crusts, a variety of toppings and lots of flavorful sauces.
I’ve tried dozens of different combinations in the past, and my husband and I have several different favorites. The kids all love it the same way – crispy crust, tomato pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
So they’re always thrilled when I make these Easy Pizza Bites!
Easy Pizza Bites Recipe
Ingredients
1 can Pillsbury Refrigerated Classic Pizza Crust
4 oz Hunts Basil, Garlic & Oregano Sauce
8 oz pkg Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Toppings as desired
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
2. Unroll pizza dough and use a round cookie cutter or glass to cut small round pieces. Place one piece of pizza crust in each section of a muffin pan.
3. Bake for 7 minutes.
4. Spoon tomato sauce into the middle of each mini-crust and top with shredded cheese. Add any additional toppings at this time.
5. Bake an additional 7-9 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
We love to make these mini-pizzas for the kids’ birthday parties.
I’ll line up a whole selection of toppings and different sauces so each child can create their own custom pizza. It’s been a huge hit with the kids and their parents – easy, fun and delicious!
Thanks for this chance & also for the great recipe. I’m definitely going to make these Pizza bites.

These pizza bites are a good idea. We make a version of them for supper that we call Pizza Burgers. We put 1/2 a hamburger bun, tomato or pizza sauce, hamburger, and shredded cheese. Sometimes we use pepperoni instead. But these cook quickly in a 375 degree oven for only 8 minutes.
Thanks for the recipe. My family loves pizza!
