The Finishing Touch to a Costume – Stride Rite Themed Shoes

We love Stride Rite shoes. All three of my kids have been wearing them since they were toddlers and we’ve always been happy with them.

I believe that with shoes, you get what you pay for. Stride Rite shoes are high quality and last longer than any other shoes we’ve tried. Plus, Stride Rite shoes fit my children’s feet correctly, so they’re comfortable for my kids and good for their foot development.

And now Stride Rite has added another awesome feature to their shoe line – Themed Shoes!

It’s the perfect time of year!

Parents sending their kids out to Trick-or-Treat can now complete their children’s costumes with these adorable shoes that match this season’s hottest costumes. From Spider-Man, Star Wars, Captain America, Minnie Mouse and Disney Princess, there is something for every little one.

We decided to get one of the Racer Lights line of shoes for my toddler son. The shoes are really nice looking and well-made and, of course, my son loves that they light up.

And for Halloween night, the lights are an added safety feature that he doesn’t even know about, but that make me feel better about having him walking outside after dark. Check out the line of lights that light up along the side of my son’s new Stride Rite shoes.

I don’t usually let my kids play in their Halloween costumes until they’re getting ready to trick-or-treat, but we had to make an exception this year. I couldn’t wait to share my son’s new shoes with him and he was so excited about jumping around as Iron Man and making the shoes light up.

As Iron Man, he was suddenly stronger and braver.

These will forever be called my son’s “Iron Man Shoes”.  Thankfully, he hasn’t noticed that they don’t actually have Iron Man on them, or even match his costume, but we’re not telling him.  😉

He loves his shoes and wants to wear them every day.

We love our new Stride Rites and can’t wait to head out on Halloween and show them off.
