Now that I’m a mom, I find so much happiness in experiencing things with my children. Everything from holidays to playtime become more magical through the eyes and imagination of children. I have three young children, so there is no shortage of magic in our playtimes.
We recently discovered a show that fits right into the kids’ favorite theme of magic – Little Charmers.
The kids love the magical land of Charmville, where three Charmers-in-Training do their best to use their new magical powers for good – which leads to hilarious misadventures. The young Charmers learn that their most important power is true friendship, which can be combined with teamwork and self-confidence to help them overcome anything that comes their way.
The show shares the wonderful message to young children that anything is possible when you work together with true friends like the Little Charmers.
The kids have been watching Little Charmers on Nick Jr. a lot lately, so I knew they’d be thrilled when they found out about the new Little Charmers toys.
They were so excited to see the toys! My little girl knew immediately that the doll was Hazel and her cat was Seven. She couldn’t wait for me to get the box open so she could start playing.
The Hazel doll is absolutely adorable! She says lots of different phrases and comes with a cool magic cape that disappears with the touch of a button.
My little boy was totally focused on the Little Charmers magical wand. He knew that the Charmers use wands in the show, so he wanted to give his new wand a try right away. It was perfect for his little hands – easy to tilt to make the wand come alive with magical sounds.
Once the kids had played with the Little Charmers goodies for a while, we decided to make some “Magical” Cookies together. The purple and pink cookies and decorations were ours and we had Hazel and the wand help us with the magic.
While the cookies were baking, the kids wanted to watch Little Charmers with their new friends. My son kept explaining to Hazel and Seven what they were doing on the show. It was too cute!
Once the cookies were ready, the kids made sure to share with their new friends.
Just as I’d known they would be, all of the Little Charmers toys were HUGE hits with the kids. I’m already planning to get the kids more of Hazel’s plush pets and magic wands for Christmas presents.
