It’s one of my favorite times of year – Valentine’s Day! I love everything about Valentine’s Day, the cards, the fun crafts, the kids exchanging valentines and, of course, the chocolate!
This year, the kids helped me make a couple of cute little Valentine’s Day gifts from Hershey’s Kisses. This one is for my husband, who loves the milk chocolate kisses as much as my grandmother did. He’s always getting caught taking them from the dishes before the guests can even see them or enjoy them, so I know he’ll love having the candy all for himself.
To put it together, we just used an empty chocolate box and filled it with Kisses. The kids helped “taste-testing” the chocolates and helped fill the box. It was an easy project even younger kids could help with.
My husband doesn’t love all of the chocolate varieties that normally come in a sampler, so he was thrilled to open it and see only Kisses.
And these are for my daughters’ friends. I let them make special Valentine’s Day gifts instead of cards. We wanted to do something small and cute and they turned out really well, I think.
We just added Kisses to cute jars, tied a red and white ribbon around the top and then attached personalized tags. Super simple to make and the girls were thrilled to be able to pass them out instead of little cards.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I think my best memory would be sharing with my kids for the first time and the looks of yummyness on their faces. đ
