We had a crazy summer break here in the Helicopter Household. The kids were only tracked out for 6 weeks and of those weeks, we were traveling for over 3.
Our schedules seemed to be lost along the way and some of our daily routines suffered because of it.
But now that the kids are back in school, we’re back in the swing of things and everything is right back on track. The girls follow a list of chores and activities every morning and afternoon to help them keep track of their responsibilities. Some of those are more popular than others, and it’s interesting to see which children prefer the various tasks.
One of the tasks that I rarely have to remind the kids of is their oral care. The kids are expected to brush their teeth at least twice and to floss once each day, but many days, they do much more than that.
