My toddler son has been ready for a big-boy bike since he realized his big sisters’ bikes were different than his ride-on toys. He sees the girls riding around the cul-de-sac, racing each other and weaving around each other. It’s not quite as much fun sitting on the little kids toy when the big kids are having so much fun.
So he was thrilled when we showed him his brand new mini Glider from Glide Bikes!
The mini Glider is the perfect balance bike for him to learn on. He learns balance by walking himself along until he’s comfortable enough to glide. With the lower center of gravity on the Glide Bikes, he’s able to balance at a lower speed (1.5mph), making it easier to learn.
The seat can be adjusted easily for height, so I was able to lock it into the perfect spot for my son as he stood there. The he was ready to go!
Before I could even explain what he should do, he immediately started walking himself around on the mini Glider.
Within a few minutes, he was really moving quickly. He started gliding around with his sisters and was having a blast.
There’s a fun bell and light that came to attach to the handlebars. My son loved dinging the little bell and turning the light on and off.
You can see the foot pedal in the second picture. It can be turned and popped into place perpendicular to the bike for a place to rest the feet when going faster. My son is still learning, so we left the foot rest parallel to the bike so he has more room to “walk” his feet. I love that we have the option to change it as he learns and grows.
He looks like such a big boy on his new bike! The mini Glider is the perfect size for him and can be adjusted for him to continue to use through age 5.
It’s a nice looking bike and very well made. I love it as much as he does. 🙂
We’re thrilled with the mini Glider from Glide Bikes! If you have a little one who’s ready to ride, be sure to check them out.

I was not compensated for this review, but did receive a product to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
That is so adorable! Checking it out for sure, my son is afraid of falling off his “big boy bike.” This looks like a good transition.
Aww – how perfect is that for little ones learning to ride! My nephew’s having a hard time learning to bike, he could totally use this!
he looks like he’s having a great time!
I also wanted to mention how nice it would be not to have those training wheels! My son has a real issue with that, he keeps trying to watch them to see if they will catch him….which makes him get off-balance.
That bike is incredible! Hayley would really love a bike like that!!
This is amazing my little grandson would have so much fun with this. Thanks
That is just too cute!!! What a great idea and it’s darn adorable!
Ok now he has the coolest bike on the block lol
That is the cutest little bike I have ever seen. My son would love that.
I love these bikes! Not having wheels makes it so great for their balance! We have one for our 2 year old and he just adores it. Your pictures are super cute:-)
What a cute bike! He looks like he is having the time of his life!
My grandson is doing the same thing and ho how it makes them feel independent
Oh I love how cute this mini glider is and how it makes the learner feel. They can feel grown up and accomplished while learning. Awesome!

A great way for kids to multi task and keep their balance
My toddler would LOVE this!
I love the idea of this bike growing with the child
that is cool…my daughter and son would love.
This looks like the perfect way to end training wheels Awesome design…
It is great that a child can learn on this and grow with it.
This would be perfect for my grandson, Beau who will be 4 in Sept. he loves to ride things. I like how it can ‘grow’ with the child. I have never seen these before. Thank you for the gift idea. Vicki
It’s got a low center of gravity, so they can’t fall quite so easily.
my little neighbor would love this since his mom cant afford him a bile
I think this is a great idea for the younger kids. It makes them feel like they fit in with the older sibs but they are still low enough to the ground to be safe!
I love that the seat can be adjusted to height i have a toddler who wishes she could ride around like her older sister lol
I love the foot rest and that it has a kick stand! Great additional features to a great bike!
This looks SO cool! Thanks for sharing! Why didn’t they have these when I was little?
He’s so cute! My grandson Collin would totally love one of these bikes. This is a great way to help him with his coordination.
Perfect for the little one just starting out on a bike
Just plain genius! Plus, you didn’t say if the hand brake is a workable brake, but assuming it is, starting out with a hand brake is great. He/she doesn’t have to “unlearn” the footbreak. I’m impressed!
My great grandaughter is 3 the perfect age for the glider to set her ready for her first bg girls bike.
What a neat bike!My grandson has been asking for a bike lately, and this would be great for him to learn on.I like that you can adjust the seat as needed too.Great review!
These bikes are a great idea!
This is a fabulous idea! I’ve long thought that training wheels are not really a great aid for learning to ride. They often wobble, become loose & out of place & little ones generally are not “comfortable” with them. The Glide Bike looks like a great idea!
What a neat little bike and thank you for a great review. Learning to balance is the toughest part to master. I love that the foot pedal is designed to be set parallel to the bike so it isn’t in the way while they learn to use their bike by walking with their feet. Ingenious!
I love how this bike allows the kid to ease into riding a bike. I also like how it can be used up to age 5!
My little grandson wants a bike like his big brother has but there is no way that he could ride one. This glider looks like it was built for him. He would love it.
I Love how they can balance with their feet and it is not too tall. Plus the seat being adjustable. Thanks for sharing your review.
my grandson would love this, not to mention his dad would too
These are so cool! I would love to get one for my son.
I really like this because it makes them feel like they can ride like the older kids!! It is so neat and really like the fact that you change the foot pedal around!!

The mini Glider is the perfect balance bike for him to learn on is good for the little ones. So happy to see a helmet. Teach them when they are young.
What took so long for someone to invent this? Hehe
I love the foot peg on this bike. That is a feature that is not available on other bikes of this type and its made of steel unlike the others that are plastic!
My daughter could never master a tricycle, so I think this may be a great way to help her start learning how to ride a bike. Whoever thought of this, came up with a wonderful idea.
I love the adjustable height.
That bike is incredible! My son can’t wait to take her training wheels off! Thanks for letting us know these types of bikes
That is the best learning bike I have seen in a long time!
perfect way for my little one to learn…
This is such a great way to learn how to ride a bike! I like that it helps them balance and take their time to get used to it opposed to starting on a big bike with everything to confuse and get in the way. This sounds great and looks like such a fun way to learn!
That would be the perfect bike for my kids for them to learn this year.

it’s just awesome! I think it’d really help get them off training wheels
I have never heard of this bike before, but I love everything I am hearing about it. Sounds like a great way to learn to ride and I love how many ways you can adjust this bike to fit the child’s size and ability.

Its a great way for them to learn before getting the big kids bike.
I like that the child can use the bike for a couple of years because of the seat adjust. And thanks for explaining that the pedal bar/foot rest can be turned. It’s not clear in the giveaway pic. 🙂
Can’t wait to teach my daughter to ride a bike! This looks like great one to try!
This looks great! That’s so neat that he knew what to do without explanations! I think the bell would be our 2 year olds favorite feature…..lol

I wish I knew about these bikes when my kids were small. I have a 7 year old who is afraid to take off her training wheels!

So cool! Great idea!
I love that the Glider Bike can be adjusted for him to continue to use through age 5.
What a great way to learn how to ride a bike quickly! I like!
Xo
The mini Glider is a great bike for the young child to learn how to perfect balancing themselves on a bike by walking along until they’re comfortable enough to glide. With its lower center of gravity and lower speed (1.5mph), it’s easier to learn. Also, the adjustable seat can be easily changed as the child grows in height.
Wow… that sounds like a great bike.
My oldest son took 2 years to get comfortable with the big kid bike I wish I had heard of this sooner my lil boy would love this to get him started before he goes to the big bike.
This looks like it would be easier for my 3 1/2 yr old. He is having problems with pedaling his little tricycle. He walks it instead of rides it.
My Grandson is outgrowing his tricycle and this looks like a great next step!
this would be a great first trike!!
This would be perfect for my toddler.
Its Great how this bike will last as my toddler grows =) I really like that about it!
love to get this for my grandson
like the bike can be adjusted to grow with him…cute pics!
I had no idea something like this existed. It would be perfect for my little guy!
This would be perfect for my little guy! I didn’t know anything like this existed.
How cute is that bike & thank you for the review I never heard of this bike
they are tiny for tiny ones.
What a cool bike!!Wish they had these when my big kids were younger…..my youngest doesnt like bike rides cuz he cant keep up with any of the big kids
I love that the seat height can be adjusted!
Such a cute bike. I wihs these had been out when my niece was little! She had the hardest time learning to balance on her big girl bike.
I have never heard of this bike before. My little guy would love this. He would think he’s as big as his six year old brother! I like that it is a bike that will grow with him as he is only three!
Cool bike to teach kids how to ride a bike.
Love this idea and concept for my four year old.
Such a fun way to learn to balance and get moving! And I love that the seat is adjustable for different heights.

neat, would be perfect for my 4yo nephew
I think it’s awesome that it can be adjusted to grow with the child and it’s so adoreable too!!
This is so cute! And what a great way to learn to ride a bike. Seems like it would be so much better than training wheels, which don’t really allow for learning balance.
I like that the seat is easily adjustable.
I love that it can adjust to the childs hight…because my son is 5 but he is very tall for his age. This bike is awesome , he would really love one of these.

My wife has been wanting one of these for my daughter. I have heard great things about them.
These are so cool! My daughter is getting to the age where she wants to ride a bike too but all of the bikes we’ve tried on her her feet don’t reach yet so this would be great for her!
these glider bikes are so neat, thank you so much for being part of this company, I would love to have this for my grandson
What a great idea for my grandson who has coordination problems and can’t use the pedals on the tricycle that he has actually outgrown!
Awesome! I wish I had one of these growing up!
This would be perfect for my grandson to learn how to balance so he could ride his big boy bike without training wheels!! Awesome!
These are so cool! I would love one of these!!
I think that this will be a great way to help my oldest, (who is 3 1/2), to learn how to balance so that she might learn to ride a bike easier and without training wheels. 🙂
Balance bikes are brilliant. I love that they teach the child to balance so that once they upgrade to a regular bike there is no need for training wheels.
Great review!
Love it
