As the mom of three children, I’ve changed a lot of diapers over the years.
The way I’ve done some things has changed with each child, but for the most part, diaper changing has stayed much the same. One very important piece of advice that moms are given is to stay with the baby at all times when baby is on the changing table. Don’t run to grab the phone or dash across the room to grab more diapers. Even if the baby has a strap from the changing table or pad, it’s very dangerous and the baby could still roll or wiggle off of the table.
For that reason, I’ve always made sure to have all of the essentials when I started to change a diaper. In the past, I’ve used a white wicker basket with our baby gear in it. But it was always a challenge to dig out the diaper rash cream or thermometer when I needed it. The wipes and diapers were easy to grab, but all of the little stuff would end up at the bottom of the basket.
The Playtex Diaper Genie Smart Caddy has been the answer to my diaper changing supplies problem.
The Diaper Genie Smart Caddy is the ultimate in diaper changing organization. With 10 pockets in different sizes, I can store all of the baby gear and diaper changing items that I might need. Whether I need rash cream, hand sanitizer or a thermometer, it’s all easily accessible.
It’s adjustable too. As a 2-in-1 caddy system, I can use the entire piece velcroed together as one unit or use the pieces separately in different places.
Since every mom knows that diapers aren’t always changed on the changing table, the Caddy is perfect for taking changing supplies where they’re needed.
I’ve separated the caddies so I can use one upstairs and one downstairs right now. I can easily grab the Caddy as I head over to change a diaper on my toddler son’s bed or grab the downstairs Caddy for a diaper change on the couch.
Once my son gets a little older, I’ll attach the pieces together for a larger organizational caddy.
The colors are pretty and neutral so I can use it in any room. I’m finding it really convenient to grab and use and wish I’d had it with all three of my babies. I love it!
Playtex® SmartCaddy™ is available at Target for $19.99. Learn more at Playtex Baby and Follow on Facebook for the latest updates and news!
