My family members all have very different preferences in food. My husband and one of my daughters love their foods spicy, while my eyes water just being near spicy foods. And although my husband would eat meat every meal if he could, my kids and I don’t eat as much of it.
So it’s nice when we have a few family favorite meals that I know everyone will enjoy.
And it’s even nicer when the meal is made with healthier ingredients, so I can feel good about serving it often. By using fresh vegetables, light dairy products and Morningstar Farms Recipe Crumbles, I can cut down on the calories and fat in our favorite meal – Tacos!
We have tacos at least once each week in this house. The kids each get to choose one meal out of 4 as long as they eat “nicely” for the other meals without complaining or refusing to eat what they’re given. So after 3 nights of my choices, they can all agree on their choice or one of them can take a turn choosing.
It’s almost always tacos.
And that’s fine with me. Our meatless tacos are easy to make, delicious and have become out Not-So-Guilty pleasure for dinner.
See how easy they are to make. Just add taco seasoning to Morningstar Farms Recipe Crumblers with a little water.
Once heated, serve on your favorite taco shell or burrito wrap. Add your toppings and that’s it – enjoy!
I know how everyone likes their tacos in our family, so I just make a couple for each person with their favorite toppings. But when we’re on vacation with our extended families, we love to make a Taco Bar. We set out dishes with lots of great toppings like lettuce, tomato, cheese, guacamole, salsa, peppers and sour cream. Everyone walks along the Taco Bar and makes the tacos however they want.
It’s always a huge hit and I’ve gotten so many compliments on the Morningstar Farms taco filling.
Don’t they look good?

I usually make mine without any meat (for me), but I like this idea. I’ll try that next time on mine!
These meatless tacos look delicious. I’ll have to try them sometime.
Well, this is sure easier than the bean burger ones I make from scratch. My daughter and I eat their Tomato Basil Pizza Burgers pretty regularly.
That does look great…are the crumbles made of soy or tofu?
This is neat but we all love meat too much to go meatless very often 🙂
I had the same question as Penelope… are they made of soy or tofu? I like to go meatless from time to time.
Those look delicious!! I have a few family members that aren’t too crazy about meat and would like this recipe. We love tacos!
Those look so good. I haven’t seen the morning star in our local store, I will have to keep my eyes peeled for it!
I would really be interested in trying Morningstar Farms taco filling. I could never imagine going full on vegetarian, but would love to include more meatless entrees in our family meals!
That’s an interesting take on a taco. I just may give it a try.
We love taco night! This would be a great idea to try, thank you!
I’ve never tried their crumbles. They look good, though! I also love their boneless buffalo wings and the Grillers Prime!
Totally up my alley – I love meatless tacos! 🙂
Those crumbles are awesome, I used to use them for everything before my carnivore of a husband started demanding beef. I still get them sometimes, just don’t tell him!
I’ll definitely have to give this a try!
I love meatless tacos – I use a recipe that has quinoa in it and it’s super good. I cannot for the life of me though convince my family that tacos don’t have to have ground beef in them 😉
Yummeh~ I loves me some tacos. I don’t eat them enough. I should start xD
These look awesome! I know what we are trying for Taco Tuesday!
I’m not usually a big fan of meatless recipes, but everything’s better on a taco, right? I might try this with ground turkey instead of ground beef too because my boyfriend can’t eat red meat. Thanks!
I’ve never tried Morning Star, but this looks delicious!
i love morningstar farms products. very tasty!
