There is something that happens when you realize that your parents are aging, and you have to step in to help take care of them. The paradigm shift from being a child to being more of a caretaker is sometimes a difficult one, and working through the process can be tricky.
I recently have had this experience, when my Dad fell while working in the yard. He was unable to get up and since then we have had to make some changes in his lifestyle to prevent a scenario like this happening again. While he’s getting physical and occupational therapy to help him with his balance, for the time being he’s always at risk of falling. So it was perfect timing when I had the chance to team up with Bay Alarm Medical and their Medical Alert Systems.
Bay Alarm Medical has spent the last 70 years protecting what matters most – our loved ones. Their Medical Alert Systems allow loved ones to still have their independence, but with the peace of mind knowing that should anything happen, help can be on the way with just the touch of a button.
Even if your parents are still active and healthy – as my Dad was before his fall – there is still comfort in knowing that they are covered in the event of an emergency. That makes it easier for you to live your life with one less worry.
Bay Alarm Medical Systems are simple to set up and simple to use. They offer several different models so you can choose which works best for your family and their needs. Although I still worry about my Dad, of course, knowing that he can get the help he needs with just the touch of a button has alleviated so much of my stress and worry about his safety.
If the time has come for you to start taking care of your parents or grandparents – the way they have always taken care of you – consider adding a Bay Alarm Medical to their home.
It will not only give you added peace of mind, but your parents will feel more secure as well.
Getting older is tough for everyone, but knowing that medical care can be on call for you any time helps make getting older just a little bit easier, so you can spend more time enjoying your time together, and less time worrying about your time apart.

A good system for your elderly loved ones. They need their independence but need that help I you are not there.
I would really love to get this for my Dad. He has already fallen down and this would really give me peace of mind!
My mom is getting older and this would be good to have.
My parents live 1600 miles from me and I worry about their safety all the time.
This would have been great for my parents when they were still around. I love how technology advances are helping the elderly these days.
It is good your dad is cooperative, and I hope he stays that way as he gets stronger. He is lucky to have you watching out for him.
My FIL could use this as he has fallen in his house a couple of time.
I work with the elderly on a daily basis. This device can be a life saver!
This would be great for my grandma
A great system not only for your children, but also for yourself.
Looks like a necessary device for elderly people who live alone. It would give everyone peace of mind.
We had this for my grandmother and she had to use it twice when she fell and broke her hip it works great
My 88 year old MIL has something like this (not sure the brand.) She has used it a couple of times. This has allowed her to live mostly independently–she no longer drives–in her own apartment.
This is a great idea, especially for someone who lives alone.
Unfortunately, I too have had a recent similar incident with my dad. It’s comforting to know there is a product and service out there like this for our parents. I’m going to look into this further. Thank you for sharing this information.
Oh this is really wonderful! Before my grandmother passed away many years ago, we had something like it. It was great to know that if anything happened we would know right away. We did have to use it a few times for her, and we will for use in the coming years for my parents!
My brother who is not elderly, but is a really bad diabetic has one because two years ago he had a diabetic seizure. Thank God he lives in an apartment and the neighbor below him heard him fall and came up to check, he didn’t answer so she called 911. Ever since then he got something like this, his even has an alarm in his room if he falls on the floor. These products can save family members life’s.
My parents are not around anymore but for down the line, it could be good for my in-laws to have.
I wish my grandmother had this when she was still with us. 🙁
My grandma could have used this when she was alive if we would have known about it, she was constantly falling.
I am glad to know there are solution like this out there although I’m lucky that I don’t need this for my family just yet.
I dread the day when my mom will need this service.
I am taking care of my dad. I drive him to many places and take care of him.

I have been helping take care of my grandparents and this alarm sounds great. They are both at risk for falling and this could really be helpful.
This would let them be independent and keep them safe in an emergency
soon I’ll have to do this with my folks. they are in their 70s and doing okay but once they get older, i know i’ll have to take care of them
I don’t have a father, but my mother would make good use of this device. She is losing her eyesight, so this device could help with her other senses.
I wish I could have gotten my father to wear one. He was so proud and you couldn’t get him to see how important it is.
This is really great because it doesn’t impede on freedom but it does provide peace of mind if anything should happen.
This is a great for elderly to help keep them safe!

I want to geet it for my mom, but every time I mention something like this she gets offended.
This is a great kit for my elder parents. I live close but not close enough
I like the idea of a watch like this. Easy to wear and to get to if needed.
These seem that they would really help out.
We’ve got two sets of parents and a three great grandma’s between us we worry about, anything for peace of mind helps.
Wish I had this when we took care of my mother and mother in law.
The Bay Alarm Medical devices could definitely give loved ones peace of mind.
My parents are both well into their seventies and this would really help to give me peace of mind.
