Tropical Twisters Drink Cocktail Mocktail Recipe

September 17, 2016 by Mickey

I just returned from an amazing blogging trip with 39 other women. It was relaxing and wonderful. And it reminded me of something I tend to forget when I’m bogged down with work and family.

Girl time is important.

Whether it’s an evening out dancing or just hanging out at a friend’s house to catch up and spend time together, it’s important to take a break with friends from time to time. Since we’re pretty far away from the city nightlife, I usually prefer to just invite a few friends over to the house for a Girl’s Night In.

For my next Girl’s Night In, I’ve created a fun and fruity drink that I think everyone will love. It can be served on the rocks or frozen and can be made with or without alcohol, depending on how you want it. All are easy to make and sooooo good!

Tropical Twisters Cocktails/Mocktails

Ingredients

12 ounces Lemon-Lime Soft Drink

12 ounces Pineapple Juice

12 ounces Fruit Drink (I used Trop50 Raspberry Acai)

12 ounces Coconut Rum or Vodka (optional)

Makes 3 Mocktails without alcohol and 4 Cocktails with alcohol

Frozen Tropical Twisters Directions:

1. Mix three layers separately in blender or drink bullet mixer.

2. Blend Ice + Lemon-Lime Soda (plus 1/3 of alcohol if making Cocktail). Pour into bottom of glasses.

3. Blend Ice + Pineapple Juice (plus 1/3 of alcohol if making Cocktail). Pour slowly into glasses on top of bottom layer.

4. Blend Ice + Fruit Drink (plus 1/3 of alcohol if making Cocktail). Pour slowly on top of previous layers.
