Worlds of Fun for Kids – Polly Pocket

There are some toys that you will never forget.

When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with Polly Pocket. The teeny tiny little dolls and playsets were more than just toys to me. They were miniature worlds to create and play with, accessories to carry in my little purse, and collectibles to arrange in pretty rows on my dresser.

I absolutely loved Polly Pocket.

Fun for Kids – Polly Pocket Play

When I heard that Polly Pocket toys were being released again, I was instantly struck with such nostalgia. Memories of playing with my Polly Pocket dolls as a child came rushing back to me. I didn’t just want to buy the new sets for my daughters, I wanted them for myself as well.

I told my children about Polly Pocket and they couldn’t wait to check out the new toys. The tiny new playsets were just as awesome as I remembered. I watched as the kids opened the playsets – seeing their eyes light up as they saw the adorably miniature details.

Within minutes, the girls were playing with Polly Pocket together. They started setting up different little “rooms”, “stores” and “houses” with the sets. I watched as they created tiny little world situations with each other as they played.

I’ll admit that I joined in for a little while to get my Polly Pocket fix. It was every bit as much fun as I remembered and I had such fun feeling like that same little girl who played with Polly for hours on end many years ago.

Once I’d played for a little while, I let the kids play without me. It was so nice to see them playing together like that – something I don’t see as often as I’d like. They have different interests and hobbies, but they all fell in love with Polly Pocket right away.

Fun for Kids – Polly Pocket Toys

The new Polly Pocket Pocket World Flamingo Floatie Pool Compact is a complete pool day of fun packed into one teeny hot pink compact. It comes with Polly and a friend and lots of fun spots for the girls to hang out. They can float around the pool in adorable little pool floats, hang out by the waterfall, get a snack at the swim up snack bar, or lounge by the pool. The tiny characters stick easily to the pool area so the kids are able to stand them wherever they want as they play.

The Polly Pocket Pocket Sweet Treat Cupcake Café is a pretty purple compact full of sweet treats and fun. There are several different rooms on two levels including a kitchen, sitting and eating area, and steps between the top and bottom floors. Some of the doors open and there is a secret stage under the table that moves. The kids love to pretend that Polly puts on a show while her friends enjoy their treats. They also love delivering café orders to the other dolls on the little scooter that comes with the compact.

The Polly Pocket Hidden Places Beach Vibes Backpack is an adorable little beach day packed inside a fun purple backpack. Polly and her friend spend the day enjoying fun in the sand on the beach before hanging out in the gorgeous beach house. There are several secret reveal areas like a submarine that the dolls can ride in, a tiki pole for dancing, pool and ice chest that open, and a beach house door that slides. My kids loved creating fun beach days for Polly and her friends, letting them hang out in the boat, make snacks for the cooler, enjoy lunch on the beach, and cool off in the pool.

Fun for Kids – Polly Pocket Toys on the Go

All three of the compacts and accessories are just as much fun as I remember. They come with lots of parts that can be interchanged and played with in the other compacts. My kids love each having their own compact to set up, but then set them out all together and have Polly and her friends walk from the beach to the café to the pool, etc.

I love that when they’re finished playing, every single little piece fits easily in the compacts for storage. The kids pop everything back inside and close it up where it all stays until they want to play again. And the compacts are just as adorably sized as I remember – perfect for popping into a backpack or handbag. We’ve taken Polly Pocket to playdates, sleepovers, the pool, the beach, and so many other places. The size is perfect for travel – the kids can play in the car then pack everything up when they’re finished. We absolutely love them!

Polly Pocket has a special place in my heart and I know that my kids will feel the same way. There’s no end to the fun the kids can have creating imaginative scenarios with these fun little worlds.
