When my daughter started Kindergarten, I had just learned about the Bento lunch craze. I made a huge list of healthy and adorably shaped foods and vowed to not get in a rut of sandwich/fruit/cookie. I hopped online to order some Bento Boxes. And then I saw the prices. So much for my little Bento dreams!
A few days later I found some disposable divided food containers at a local store. I thought they were perfect and was so excited to have found them. But after only a few washes, the top warped completely! I could push it down into place in the middle, but the edges popped back up over and over. It wouldn’t stay closed. I had to stop using them only a couple of weeks after buying them because food would spill out.
When I was given the chance to try Easy Lunchboxes, I was so excited. I’d heard great things about them and was happy to get back to my cute little Bento meals. I like how they thought to NOT make the lid fit so snug that my 2 year-old can’t open it himself. He likes doing things on his own.
