I have never been the most organized person. But as I became an adult, I learned how to keep my things in their proper place and usually was able to have some semblance of an organized home.
With the birth of our first baby, any change of organization that I might have had went right out the window.
Babies and kids come with so much stuff! Beyond just the toys, books and clothes, there are so many basic household products that we need in baby or child size. Potty chairs in the bathroom, carseats in the car and a booster chairs in the kitchen. Kids need a lot of stuff.
One of the worst areas for me is the kitchen. Whether it’s sippy cups, lids or kid-size bowls and utensils, it seems like my kitchen is overrun with kid products. I’ve never figured out how to organize them either. They can’t be stacked easily and take up so much room in our cabinets.
But I finally have two great ways to get organized in the kitchen: the Playtex SmartSpace Drying Rack and SmartStand Universal Lid Organizer.
The SmartStand is the perfect way to store all of our sippy and drink cup lids. It can hold 12 different lids and rotates, so I’ll be able to grab whichever lid I need easily, instead of digging through drawers and cabinets. It’s also small, so it doesn’t take up a lot of room in the kitchen. I love it!
Our other new favorite organization tool is the Playtex SmartSpace Drying Rack. It’s the perfect place to let all of our bottles and cups air dry, instead of putting them away still damp or wasting energy drying them with heat (when they never get fully dry anyway!).
With lots of adjustable pegs, the drying rack can be used with large or super small items. There’s an absorbent microfiber mat to catch any water drips and a side caddy for storage of brushes and utensils.
I can snap the pieces together for one large drying rack, or separate them to use side-by-side or in 2 different spots. So convenient!

orgainzing these things must be the bane of existence for all moms. I always tried to keep the number of items down to a minimum, that way we didn’t lose much and didn’t have to store much
