Who do you go to for your skincare advice?
A dermatologist? A friend who has great skin? Somewhere else?
I’ve been more of the “try anything and everything” camp in the past. I used to get a lot of compliments on my skin when I was younger and I guess that kept me pretty confident about my skin for a while. Probably a while longer than it should have.
After seeing my skin up close in a massively enormous magnification mirror (still haven’t recovered) a few months ago, I realized I needed to be serious about my skin. No more trying skincare because it was on sale or because the packaging was a cute color.
I needed skincare products that actually work. That have been tested and proven to improve the appearance and condition of skin and skin imperfections. I needed RoC.
I’ve been using the RoC® Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer, Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, Eye Cream, Deep Wrinkle Serum and Wrinkle Resurfacing System for several weeks and am so excited about how it’s working.
It’s important to use skincare products for 12 weeks to give them time to work, but I’m already seeing a difference around my eyes and can’t wait to see how it works long-term!
On a recent PR trip, I got the chance to share RoC with some great blogging friends. I got everything set up for their arrival and was excited about sharing these great products with my friends.
As the women started to arrive, we chatted about our skin concerns and our skincare regimens. There were women in their 20s, 30s and 40s in the room and we had a lot of similar concerns and problems. Several of the women already used RoC skincare and were very pleased with it. Even more women had heard great things about RoC and were excited about learning more.
When everyone arrived, I shared information about the RoC skincare products and gave everyone the chance to check out RoC Academy. RoC Academy is an online resource that gives exclusive information about the aging process, retinoids and retinol and the truth about anti-aging myths.
It was so interesting to learn how aging changes from decade to decade.
I learned that signs of aging begin as early as our 20s when the skin slows down the process of shedding dead skin cells and forming new cells. Since the oil gland production slows dramatically in the 30s, it’s important to then exfoliate and remove dead skin cell buildup. By the time a woman is in her 40s, collagen and elastin are breaking down and facial skin tends to sag, so a stricter anti-aging regimen helps firm up the skin. By age 50 and beyond, sun exposure can appear as age spots, so it’s crucial to use a minimum SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen on the face and body.
Everyone had a great time learning about RoC Skincare and about how skin changes as we age. We ended up with about 20 women attending – I couldn’t fit everyone onto our cruise cabin balcony at once! 🙂
It was a great party and everyone was thrilled to be able to take “home” the RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Serum!
A huge thank-you to RoC Skincare for sharing these amazing products and skincare secrets with us!
And thanks to all of my sweet blogger friends who were excited to learn about the awesome RoC® products and share them with others!
This is part of a compensated skin care review campaign with the Motherhood and RoC. All opinions on the product are my own.

my skin was always oily when i was young and was told that meant i wouldnt have wrinkles. wrong!! at 48, i am noticing wrinkles around my eyes and have dark circles and bags under my eyes. also my skin has started to flake at times. i need to start a new skincare regime that will address these issues. thanks for sharing this info on RoC. i will have to look into the cost and if i can afford it, start there.
Love ROC products! Looks like you all had a blast. Thanks for sharing these awesome products.
I use ROC and love it. I use the wrinkle cream and have found it does improve the texture of my skin!
I am seeing the aging now and I hate it. I am trying different things. Dr. Oz has a lot of things he mentions for aging to use from the inside like pills and outside. ROC sounds great and I will look into this!
I use their face wash, I need to try their other products.
I have been noticing some little laugh lines lately, so I really do need to start a skincare routine so that I can nip that in the bud!
I have been in the “try anything and everything” camp myself for a long time. And I really haven’t had much success. This could be something that I should give a try. Thank you.
I have to try this. My face is a mess and I can see lines all over my face.
I haven’t tried ROC but if it would get rid of the deep wrinkles on my face, I would be SOLD. Winter is horrible for the skin and we have had a really bad winter.
I have heard of these products, are they very expensive?
I have to admit I’ve stolen my wife’s skin-care stuff before. Wish there were more options for men.
It looks like you had a great party. Skin Care is important no matter your age. The earlier you start, the better and these products sound great.
As I get older, I see more wrinkles and I want to stop them asap. This would be a great product for me to try,.
I’ve heard great things about RoC! as I continue to age, I’ll definitely be looking into these products
RoC products are the best on the market. I have been using them for a couple of years. Before hand, I spent too much money to mention on the other products. RoC has a forever place in my anti aging skin care regimen.
I’ve heard great things about RoC products.
I love Roc products because they really help me keep my wrinkles from being pronounced on my face. I like the deep wrinkle cream. It really works in make my fine lines and wrinkles disappear!
Now that I am over 50, I am ever worried about my skin! My mom had great skin and looked 15 years younger than she was at 80. I am looking for some good products and these sound great
ROC is a brand I know I can stand behind. It’s so well known for anti-aging. At 27, I am starting to notice my skin changing!
I haven’t tried ROC yet but they sound like really great products. I’ll have to give them a try.
this looks like really great products for aging women’s skin.
I was just looking at some cream to reverse aging! I always thought since I was young I didn’t need the stuff but it’s never to early to start! I’m big on removing my makeup and moisturizing thanks to my older sister!
I think I am at the point where I look in the mirror and know I need to pay more attention to skin health. I would love to find a skin product that I could count on to keep me looking youthful and having healthier skin. It was nice to learn what I should be expecting with my skin —for my age.
I use to use ROC products a long time ago and don’t know why I stopped. Looks like you guys had a great event!
I haven’t heard of ROC. But I know that I need to get more education on skincare. I don’t do enough. Now that I am in my 30’s I better pay attention to my skin!
I got some ROC products in the mail and I need to try them. My mom has a super magnification mirror, too, and you’re right… it’s near scarring!
I have used their products and they work wonderful, really like them
I’m afraid to see what my skin looks like up close like that. I was not very kind to my skin as a youngster. Now I’m all about the SPF, hats and protecting my skin. I’ll have to check this ROC product out.
I love this type of party. It is different than a tupperware party, that is for sure. I use ROC skin care products and I am very happy with the results.
Roc is my age spot killer! I love their products!
I love RoC products. The Retinol is my favorite and really improved my skin when it was seriously damaged. Awesome party!
I’m 62 – these products would be beneficial for my aging skin.
Seems like a great product and brand! I never use any skin care except the Ponds. 🙂 Probably when I get a little more older 🙂
I believe I have heard of ROC – being in my 50’s I’m always looking for anti-aging formulas and perhaps I could try this out or at least some of it. Thanks for the thorough information.
I love that it works so well for so many ages. That makes it even more worthwhile.
I just bought the starter kit (?) with the two small bottles for my face. I use it and it makes my skin feel so soft! I can’t wait to see what the long lasting effects of it will be!
I have some of this under my sink. I need to pull it out and try!
That was nice that you got to try the products. I love that you got to get together as a group too!
These are great products for skincare and to slow down the aging process
I really need to try this out. My skin is combination and its hard to keep it happy!
I’m sorry I missed that party! I am already familiar with the RoC brand. Have you ever noticed how youthful my eyes are? LOL I use their eye cream.
I have heard about these products, thank you for the review.
I really need to try these products on my skin.
I’ve never used RoC Academy but I have been using Olay which has been working great. I may give RoC Academy a try just to change things up a bit.
I have never used Roc products before. As we age I feel we need different products for our skin. Im at the age of getting wrinkles. We tend not to care for our skin when we are younger. thanks
Ha! I don’t think I would recover from seeing my skin that close either! I don’t even like the magnifying mirror in my bathroom!
Sounds like a great product. I will have to look into this. Looks like something my mother and I would enjoy.
I’d love to try these products! I’m starting to look at implementing anti aging products in my routine.
I have never used these type of products before but I’m 44 and have been wanting to give this brand a try
I would love to try their eye cream!
It’s great that RoC is working for you! I might give it a go!
I’ve heard TONS of awesome things about ROC. I’ve tried a couple of their products, but I’d love to try that deep wrinkle serum. Since I turned 30, my skin has changed so much. Blah…getting old stinks!
I have used ROC moisturizer before and I really like it.
A LADY I WORK WITH USES THIS PRODUCT AND I AM GOING TO HAVE TO START AFTER READING REVIEWS…I NEED HELP ! I HAVE FINE LINES AND STARTING TO WRINKLE 🙁 THANKS FOR THE CHANCE
I saw a commercial for them a few years ago but never gave them any thought. Thanks for sharing your experience. I normally just buy what’s on sale and the older I get, that’s just not working any more.
Since I’m 62 been getting more concerned about again skin.
These products would be great for me!
I’ve heard great things about RoC products. I’m getting older and am looking for products that will help prevent wrinkles.

I’ve never heard of ROC before, but it sounds great! I should start using it!
I have never even heard of these products, are they expensive?
I definitely am aging. This is nice.
Ive heard so many things about this. And I feel like it is much more affordable than some of the other products like this. I tried nerium prodcuts and realized that it was not for me so I should totally try this out.
These products sound awesome.. I admit at 48 I have been trying many products because I am seeing the lines and dark circles under the eyes. I will have to
check into these 🙂
