Isn’t it interesting how different children can be?
Unlike his two big sisters, my little boy can sometimes be picky when it comes to foods. He’ll eat, but he doesn’t eat much and doesn’t seem to enjoy a lot of the foods that other children love. We encourage him to try new things often, so he’s tried a lot of different kinds of foods, but it can be difficult to find ones that he enjoys. I worry sometimes that he’s not getting enough nutrients when it seems like he’s not eating much.
I worry even more when we travel. At home, if it’s difficult to get him to eat a meal, I can always find something he’ll eat in the pantry or the fridge. But that’s not always possible when we’re traveling to visit relatives or staying in a vacation rental.
Instead of trying to plan every single meal and snack ahead of time, I do what I can to make sure he’s getting essential nutrients every day when we’re at home and traveling. That’s easy to do with Gerber’s new toddler drink – Stage 3 Gerber® Good Start® Grow Toddler Drink.
Stage 3 Gerber® Good Start® Grow Toddler Drink has essential nutrients that toddlers often need, as well as probiotics that support digestive health. It nourishes toddler tummies so they can focus on what makes them, and you, happy: their growing independence.

We are just now getting to this stage and it has been interesting. He does not like to eat everything and seems to be picky. I am trying hard to make it fun so I can expose him to all kinds of foods.

When my daughter was smaller, she’d happily eat literally anything. We’d go out to a Greek restaurant and the staff and cook smile and marvel at the toddler happily eating octopus and asking for “Mo’ ten’acles, p’ease!’ Now that she’s two-and-a-half? She’d eat nothing but french fries and Popsicles if it were up to her. So frustrating.

My daughter was really picky when she was younger but as she got older, I tried to introduce veggies in a fun way so that she would love to eat them. Now she loves vegetables.

I’ve gotten really lucky in that my kids want vegetables (if I make them right.) my biggest issue is kids filling up on water and playing with food.

We are adding more and more foods each week. My baby girl just had her first taste of ice cream and of course loved it. I’ll be a little sad when the bottles are done forever.

My baby struggled with eating fruits and vegtables as he transitioned into being a toddler. I had to make his food fun and sneak in some healthy foods into his diet.

I have tried to make it fun and enjoyable! But of course some things they do love and they don’t need encouragement.

I learned not to stress too much about mealtime as long as you offer healthy food to your toddler.

My toddler will try almost anything, but if she doesn’t like the food, she always makes a funny face and then spits it on her hands and puts her hands up, getting the food in her hair. We joke about telling whether she likes a food or not by how much is in her hair. 😉

Sometime you have to be little sneaky to get kids to try new foods. Our grandchild’s parents do not eat fish. At our house we serve her battered fish filets cut into pieces and she loves them! We call this “chicken nuggets” . We have all heard that fish is “chicken of the sea”, right?
Charity Meals says
I love feeding my little girl! She eats anything I put in front of her, and she usually eats her brother’s leftovers. I just hope it lasts!

My granddaughter is 4 and has still not transitioned to toddler hood very well as far as eating goes. She still eats pouches for lunch. For dinner she will only eat hotdogs, chicken nuggets or a turkey sandwich.

My daughter is just entering “Toddlerhood” and I have to say I can’t believe how one day something is fine and the next she refuses to eat it. I love seeing her personality develop so this stage is so confusing, cute, and frustrating all at the same time!

My family has extremely messy toddlers and eaters. One of my younger grandsons is starting to learn to feed himself and he gets more on the floor and his clothes then he does his mouth. We use Gerber baby foods but I don’t think we have tried the formula.

Toddlerhood was so much fun with my three little ones. Transitioning to real foods was made more fun by my willingness to eat the same thing that they were eating.

My son is testing the waters of toddlerhood. The biggest joys is seeing him grow and the way he is so excited about the new things he finds. The challenges are now that he is getting older he is also becoming more of a picky eater

Our kids were thankfully not picky eaters, so transitioning was really quite easy! Our daughter though will love something one day & the next not want to touch it! She likes variety, for sure!
