We are less than two weeks from the Big Game, and the family and I are already excited about throwing a huge party in celebration of our team winning!!!! Ok, ok.. I know our team hasn’t won YET – but we are pretty confident that a trophy will be coming home to our state. One thing is for sure though – we will have some of the tastiest treats at our party regardless of how the game goes.
One of my all time favorites will be highlighting the finger foods table – Buffalo Chicken Dip with my secret ingredient… blue cheese dressing.
My Buffalo Chicken Dip is super simple to make, has tons of flavor, and all of the ingredients can be picked up at your favorite grocery store. In fact, I keep most all of these ingredients on hand for a quick snack if unexpected guests arrive. In about 35 minutes you have a great dish that can be a great side, or even as a great meal! Our entire family loves it!
Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
1 rotisserie chicken
1 package cream cheese, softened
1 cup your favorite wing sauce
½ cup Blue Cheese Dressing
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
Shred the chicken from your rotisserie chicken in a large bowl. You can choose if you want to use only the white meat or white and dark. I prefer just white, but my hubs says the dark meat gives it more flavor – I will let you decide.
Add in the softened cream cheese and hot sauce and mix well.
Pour in the Blue Cheese Dressing and stir until ingredients are well combined.
Spoon into a casserole dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until sides are bubbly and cheese begins to brown. Serve hot with your favorite chips, crackers or veggies. (I like mine on cucumber slices.)
Enjoy!
This dip is sure to be a crowd favorite at any party. It is thick and hot and creamy and the secret ingredient of Blue Cheese dressing gives it that extra kick with the real chunks of aged blue cheese baked right in. It is also a great low-carb option for those of us wanting a delicious flavorful snack without blowing our diet.
I would eat Naturally Fresh with some celery sticks
I love Asian style sweet & spicy wings dipped in ranch.
