There must be something in the water here in my small town. I swear it seems like all three of my kids have several teachers all having babies. Some of the teachers are close to their due dates, while others are already on maternity leave. There are a LOT of babies joining our little school family!
Because there will be so many new mamas in our community, I decided to get each of them something. I decided put together some fun little baskets for the moms and the babies.
When I was pregnant with each of my kids, I was blessed with gifts from different family members and friends. People love shopping for adorable baby items and have fun choosing pretty little outfits and toys. I loved having everyone share their excitement about the new babies and was thankful to get so many precious gifts.
That said, many of the gifts weren’t very practical. I had so many gorgeous little dresses for the girls and preppy little pants and shirts for my son. I did dress the babies up from time to time and loved having those sweet little outfits for them. But most days, the babies slept in little onesies or cozy pajamas. The fancy clothing didn’t get much use, unfortunately.
When I was putting together gift baskets for the teachers at my kids’ school, I wanted to include gifts that I knew they could use. Since I was putting together several of them at a time, I also wanted to choose the gift items carefully.
Easy Baby Gift Basket
Every new baby needs diapers and wipes, so I made sure to include both. I found great quality baby products at a local store while I was shopping for groceries and thought they’d be perfect for the gifts.

Aren’t they cute?
I love how they turned out!
The purple color is perfect whether the teachers have boys or girls. Each basket has a mixture of cute gifts as well as practical supplies for the mom and the baby. The baskets can be used later on to hold baby bath supplies, diapers and wipes, or whatever the moms need.
What kind of basket can you make?

Sweet, great gifts.. maybe for a baby shower
