As soon as I walk in to the new Food Lion, I see the newly updated produce area. Food Lion now has expanded produce, meat and deli/bakery departments with fresher foods. The entire area is so pretty and spacious. I could easily see where everything was and it all looked fresh and delicious!
Just outside of the produce section is the wine section. Doesn’t this look nice? I’ll have to head back soon and pick out some great new wines.
The Food Lion stores were also redesigned to make the shopping experience more pleasant. There is new warmer lighting, better organization throughout the shelves and new Market-style displays. The aisles are now clutter free, cleaner and wider. I left my cart in the photo to show you how wide the aisles are. Look at how spacious the aisles are!:
There are also brand new carts. I can’t stand shopping with carts that are hard to steer or ones with broken child straps or dirty seats. It’s nice to have dozens of new carts to choose from.
They didn’t forget the kids’ carts either! My children will sit nicely a lot longer in these carts, allowing me to get more shopping done. I always try to shop at stores with them.
Food Lion stocks over 600 products in the “My Essentials” brand. With selections in Dairy, Beverages, Cereal, Baking Goods, Frozen Meals and Snacks, Cookies and many others, the “My Essentials” brand will help you save on everyday items without sacrificing quality. I bought butter, cream cheese, sugar and flour from the “My Essentials” line to make sugar cookies with the kids and love the money I saved!

GIVEAWAY
Closed. Thank you for entering.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central for Food Lion. I received a gift card and product kit to facilitate my review.
I tweeted about the giveaway, but for some reason it wouldn’t let me paste it into Rafflecopter. Here’s the link to my tweet: https://twitter.com/#!/stretchurbudget/status/185921891146539008
OK, thank you! 🙂
