I’ll admit that I’ve never been the best housekeeper. Although I would clean the house daily, there always seemed to be something left to do. I wasn’t keeping track of when a task had been done last and there were things that feel through the cracks. It was embarrassing to have to ask people to “excuse the mess” if the house wasn’t as clean as I’d liked.
My neighbor, on the other hand, had an immaculate house. It didn’t matter matter when I dropped by, there was never an item out of place. When I commented about how clean her house always looked, she said she cleaned with a schedule. She followed the cleaning schedule religiously and makes sure that everything gets cleaned.
After talking to my neighbor about her cleaning schedule, I decided to create one of my own. I follow it every week now and have seen a huge difference in how clean the house stays. There are some spring cleaning and deep cleaning tasks that I do periodically that aren’t on the weekly checklist, but for the most part, our entire house is covered.
In addition to having a great cleaning schedule to follow, it’s also important to have the right tools for the job. When I’m cleaning the different surfaces in our house, I want to be sure that they’ll get clean quickly and easily – which is why I’m loving Lemi Shine cleaning products.

That cleaning schedule is a great idea. I saved yours and I think I’ll use that to make one that will work for my household. I need to some tweaking with it because we’re a family of 6, and my kids are range from 1.5 – 11 years old. I need more vacuuming and sweeping than that! LOL Anyway, thanks for a good start!
