This Easy Fresh Strawberry Pie Recipe is perfect for summer!

Fresh Strawberry Pie Recipe
1 unbaked pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 (3 oz.) package strawberry gelatin
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
whipped cream for serving
Preheat oven to 450°. Cover the pie shell with two layers of foil and bake for 8 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for 5 more minutes uncovered. Set aside to cool.
In a small saucepan, bring the water, cornstarch and sugar to a boil, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened slightly. Remove from heat, stir in the strawberry gelatin, and put into the fridge to cool.
Distribute the sliced fresh strawberries evenly in the baked pie shell.
Once the gelatin mixture has mostly cooled, slowly pour the it over the layer of strawberries. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate until completely set.
Top with whipped cream and serve.
