The kids and I made some fun polar bear cookies this weekend. They’re super easy to make and the kids loved being able to help.
Fun and Easy Polar Bear Cookies
Ingredients
Chocolate sandwich cookies
White candy wafer melts (I used this type)
Brown and Blue Chocolate Candies (I used these)
Small black candy pieces (I used this kind)
Directions
1. Pour some of the wafers into a small bowl and melt them in the microwave according to the instructions on the package.
2. Put a cookie on a fork and spoon the melted candy wafers over it until the top and sides of the cookie are completely covered. Slide/shake the cookie off of the fork and onto wax or parchment paper.
3. Cut 1/3 of two white candy wafers and stick them to the top of the cookie for the ears.
4. Turn a candy wafer upside down and put it along the edge of the cookie top.
5. Use a toothpick to add a little bit of melted candy wafers to a brown piece of chocolate and stick it to the wafer for the nose.
6. Drop two tiny candies into the cookie for the eyes.
7. Let cool completely.
Enjoy!
