This may sound crazy – but I look forward to school starting every year so that I can start collecting Box Tops for Education for my kids. It is true – I am one of those excited moms that takes it as a personal challenge to send as many of those in for my kids as I possibly can. After all, what easier way to support my kids school than to clip little Box Tops off of my already favorite products? Like those Cheerios the kids eat almost every morning:
Did you know that for every Box Top you turn in, your school received $.10!? Trust me when I say those little things can add up! Hundreds of your favorite products are now sporting the Box Tops for Education – including some of your favorite General Mills cereals, Ziploc® Bags, Annie’s ® Snacks and even Lysol® and Hefty®!!
I love that I do not have to do anything except buy the products I already love – and simply snip off the tops!
In celebration of back to school season Costco has launched the “Golden Box Tops Challenge.” For every specially marked General Mills product you purchase at your local Costco, you will get an additional eight Box Tops! Plus there will be a code that you can enter on CostcoBoxTops.com that will let you enter to win one of 3,000 BoxTops Prize Packs containing 100 eBox Tops – instantly! How cool is that!?
In preparation for going back to school the kids and I headed off to Costco to stock up on all of our must-haves for this season. The kids had a blast checking the packaging of their favorite foods, snacks, and cereals for the Box Tops.
It almost became a game when each kid would scream “Got one!” as soon as they saw the little pink label. Who needs Pokemon Go when you have Box Tops!
Head to your local Costco to grab all of your favorite products and help your local schools at the same time with Box Tops for Education!
We east Cherios almost every morning.
